Addington selections 5th June 2026
Harness analyst best tips:
Best Bet: R8 Dash Dosh
Best Value: R2 Queensland Spirit
Race 1
Treasure Cove (4)
Forget the last run when things didn’t go to plan. Better than that effort and can bounce back quickly.
Deal Breaker (7)
Built nicely into his Timaru maiden win and looks capable of taking another step forward.
Franco Lomu (10)
Returned in good order at the trials and has enough ability to make an impact fresh up.
Race 2
Queensland Spirit (12)
Excellent debut after doing early work and looks the horse they all have to beat despite the draw.
Classic Skye (11)
Lightly raced trotter with upside. Trial form suggests she can be competitive fresh.
Danya (2)
Has improved with every run this preparation and looks ready to give a good account.
Race 3
Culture Vulture (1)
Qualified impressively and lands the perfect draw for his debut. Looks ready to run a big race.
Crunchy Granola (4)
Had little luck at Timaru and should appreciate a much kinder run this time around.
Bonjour Miki (10)
Solid runner up effort behind a handy one last week. Drawn to follow speed and finish strongly.
Race 4
Mumsdawitch (8)
Smart enough to win as a juvenile and has shown enough at the trials to rate highly here.
Major Cyclone (6)
Handled a tricky draw well last start and should be suited by the mobile conditions.
Chocta (10)
Better than the 6th result first up. Can improve sharply with that run under the belt.
Race 5
Trump Card (5)
Has been hitting the line well without much luck. Draw gives him every chance to be a major player.
Beachbreak (1)
Returned to form with a tough third last week and gets all the favours from the inside gate.
Radha (9)
Possesses a sharp turn of foot when things go his way and is worth including again.
Race 6
Almighty (4)
Reliable trotter who continues to race honestly. Looks one of the better chances in this field.
Swift Dream (2)
Solid fresh up effort and strips fitter for that run. Capable of figuring in the finish.
Love Walked In (10)
Recent form doesn’t tell the full story. Better manners would see her right in contention.
Race 7
Cinderella Franco (11)
Outstanding recent form and deserves favouritism despite the awkward draw.
Ultimate Seisation (5)
Returned with a stylish trial win and looks capable of making an immediate impact.
Lilac Luxury (3)
Has been finishing off her races strongly and finally gets a more suitable barrier.
Race 8
Dash Dosh (9)
Caught the eye fresh-up and looks ready to improve sharply second up.
Zoltan Boscik (3)
Now with a new stable and his previous form suggests he can be very competitive here.
Mavis Jones (5)
Forget the last run. Earlier form was solid and she can improve with the right trip.
Race 9
Caught The Eye (6)
Worked hard in stronger company recently and this race sets up nicely for a top three.
Tempo Warrior (7)
Honest performer who handles different race shapes and should be thereabouts again.
Scrunch (5)
Returned with a good placing and natural improvement makes him a serious threat.
Race 10
Flying Ace (7)
Drops sharply in class after tackling much stronger opposition. Clearly the one to beat.
Irish Dream (1)
Forgive the latest run. Earlier efforts were excellent and the ace draw is a major advantage.
Quicker Than Quick (8)
Strong effort at Ashburton after doing work and another honest performance looks likely.
