Harness analyst best tips:
Best Bet: R6 Better Man
Best Value: R8 Ultimate Seisation
Race 1
Jack’s Eyre (4)
Didn’t have much luck from a tough trip last start. Better draw this time and can bounce back into the finish.
Logan Rock (2)
Gets every chance from the inside draw and should enjoy a soft run throughout. Major player.
Putere Boy (11)
Racing in excellent form and was only narrowly beaten here last start. Has to be respected despite the second line.
Race 2
Bettabe Lou (1)
Well supported on debut and only just missed. Draws perfectly to go one better.
Silent Witness (3)
Has impressed at the trials and looks more than capable of making an impact first-up.
Ultimatum (6)
Fast beginner who should land close to the speed and give a strong sight.
Race 3
Beachbreak (8)
Drops into a slightly easier assignment and can overcome the draw with the right trip.
Tabasco (10)
Freshened since his last run and capable of running into the money with genuine tempo.
Queen Of Swords (6)
Didn’t get much room in stronger company last start. Well capable of featuring here.
Race 4
Ridge (10)
Luckless last start and only needs even breaks to be right in the finish.
Go Home Denise (6)
Forgive the latest run after breaking. Her best form measures up nicely here.
Kingaroy (7)
One of the more consistent trotters in this grade and rarely runs a poor race.
Race 5
Fusion Reactor (5)
Better than recent form suggests and should appreciate a more economical run this time.
Longview Tui (4)
Hit the line well last start and looks close to another competitive effort.
The Beach House (8)
Useful fresh effort and can improve again despite the awkward draw.
Race 6
Better Man (7)
Had no peace in front last start and still fought on well. Leading chance again.
Scotlynn Fortress (3)
Hasn’t enjoyed much luck recently but continues to race honestly. Include.
Ultimate Dreamer (6)
Worked hard last start and stuck on well. Capable of making his presence felt.
Race 7
Son E (7)
Better than his recent formline suggests and this company suits much better.
Isobel (8)
Forgive the last-start break in stronger company. Worth another chance.
Alotoftrouble (5)
Racing consistently and looks capable of giving them something to catch.
Race 8
Ultimate Seisation (6)
Forget his last run where nothing went right. Gets his chance to bounce back.
Delightful Dreams (4)
Form doesn’t tell the full story and he has been racing better than it reads.
Salute (10)
Strong finish for second last time and with the right run can be charging home again.
