Harness racing hits Addington again today with 8 races on the card. The racing starts at 4:13pm and we highlight some specials and value runners we think can give you a run for your money on a good afternoon of racing.

Best Value:  R6   Playing With Stars

Race 1

Just Ask Paddy (6) – Honest effort here last week and maps to get his chance again. Go again.
Warloch (4) – Racing well and keeps finding the line. Draw gives options and right in this.
Fusion Reactor (7) – Not far away last time here and can sneak into the minors with luck in running.

Race 2

Natives Inferno (7) – Forget the last run where manners cost him. If he trots cleanly he’s right in this.
Bonnie Bagrie (10) – Has the motor but you’re backing her manners. Dangerous if she behaves early.
Solemn Son (3) – Didn’t quite finish it off last start but better alley helps. First four chance at big odds.

Race 3

Normie Stead (6) – Impressive since the stable switch and did it tough last time. Looks the one to beat 
Jukebox Gypsy (2) – Racing consistently and should land handy. Deserves a win. Needed here
Ar Gee Rulz (1) – Drawn to get the soft trip. Needs the gaps but can feature at longer odds.

Race 4

Dynasty (10) – Has shown ability and if he trots throughout he goes very close in this grade.
Crown The Moment (6) – Needs to lift but Addington record says don’t ignore him. Include
Kingaroy (5) – Forgive the last run after early interference. Capable of bouncing back quickly.

Race 5

Shards Lyric (13) – Unruly draw makes it tricky but weaker field here. Good chance with luck.
Willy Away (2) – Handy alley and gets his chance to settle closer. Each way claims in this.
Delight With Me (1) – Big swing in draws and can hold a spot early. Place chance at odds.

Race 6

Playing With Stars (2) – Has not had the right trip the last few. Draw to bounce back and be in it.
Sweet Glory (6) – Racing better than the form looks. With the right cart into it can surprise.
Wavewatcher (1) – Trail draw gives options. Place value if he gets room late. Driver change here

Race 7

Country Gold (7) – Good effort behind stronger company last start. He’s the horse to beat.
Santanna Mach (6) – Honest type who keeps plugging away. Can grab a slice if he can lead.
My Skatjie (5) – Won nicely two back and solid since. In the mix again with a quick beginning.

Race 8

Don Juan (8) – Has a good turn of foot. Wide draw but if the speed is on he’ll be charging late.
Flying For Me (5) – Forgive the last run. Trials ok and capable with the right run in transit.
A Better Jackalack (10) – Mixed form but not hopeless. Needs luck from the unruly draw.
