Most Exciting shows class in VicBred Semi Final
Consistent pacer Most Exciting (Always B Miki) handled a treat by ace driver Kerryn Manning upset his more fancied stablemates when he outsprinted his rivals to take out the first semi final of the APG Vicbred Super Series for three year old colts and geldings at Melton on Saturday night.

Drawn the pole Most Exciting was one of five trainer Emma Stewart’s runners. Major Blitz took up the running while Most Exciting was positioned right behind the leader. Favourite Soho Charmer inexplicably galloped after the mobile was released and that was the end of his chances.
MOST EXCITING 5 SEP REPLAY
The most favoured of the Stewart stable Enjoy Life who had been unbeaten in his previous eight starts didn’t have a lot of luck early as he was caught facing the breeze while Lowrider had the one out and one back trail.
Major Blitz seemed to holding Enjoy Life who appeared to be struggling on the final bend but once the inside run come for Most Exciting he sprinted quickly to quickly overhaul Major Blitz while Enjoy Life battled on for third placing.
After the race driver Kerryn Manning commented.
He’s a lovely horse. He certainly, lives up to expectations. He travelled pretty strong. He was pretty keen in the run. I’m not sure what time they went. 1:55 over the long, but he felt like they were jogging and on the bend, it’s just a matter of getting back the inside, and, and he just took a little bit to accelerate through, and then on the line, he was going pretty strong. So he’s pretty nice to drive.
it’s like, most of them they’re all such good horses that, you kind of just hope for a good draw and, and, and the right luck really, because, you know, they’re, each one in that final will be, pretty good. No matter what draw they get, you know, it sort of, comes down to luck and draws in the finals of these big races.
Manning added that she would be wrapped to be driving Most Exciting in the Final but of course the decision will be made by Emma Stewart.
The second heat was taken out by Le Cardinal (Captaintreacherous) who came from well back with a withering burst to overall Mount Barker Boy who finished on for second while The Niteshift had no luck being caught wide but still battling on for third.
It was a classic winning drive by Amy Day as she waited until the final lap before unleashing a winning burst.
