All roads this Saturday night lead to Melton where eight Group 1 Finals of the APG VicBred series for two and three year old pacers and trotters will be staged.

The three year old colts and geldings division looks to be dominated by the powerful Emma Stewart harness racing stable with ace colts Most Exciting and Enjoy Life drawing one and two respectively.

The two year old colts and geldings final sees the promising Jess Tubbs trained Lake Como ideally drawn in two and the inform Cardigan Sniper who has a great will to win is awkwardly drawn on the outside of the second row. Stewart also has Some High engaged.

Jess Tubbs also has a strong hand in the three year old trotters fillies final with the lightly raced Queen of Sees but she will be tested by other heat winner Hallebesofine, Aldebaran Ada and New South Wales visitor Gladiatrix who will need to be on her best behaviour.

Outstanding three year old trotter Pastor Dunbar will have to come from the second row in the trotters three year old colts and geldings with his main opponents last start heat winners Howdy Mate and Munny The Munster drawn on the front row.

Unbeaten colt Verbici faces his biggest task to date from his second row draw in the two year old colts and geldings trotters final with Phoenix Rex drawn the pole and the other heat impressive winner Insulator coming out from barrier five.

The two year old pacing fillies final looks to be a match race between speedy filly Kahula and the brilliant Ideal Frankie who will have to come from the second row.

The two year old trotters fillies final sees Bumper Crop going for her fifth win on end and she looks the one to beat.

The three year old pacing fillies final sees Bettor Beach who was outstanding winning her heat in comprehensive style last week looks the one to beat from the pole draw with the much improved Sweet Irish Loch ready to run another forward race.

Menangle has three heats of the Carousel to be run with Captains Knock who is taking all before him the one to beat in the Sutton McMillan Free for All.

Globe Derby has a strong ten event program on Saturday night with the main highlight being the $20000 SAHRC Derby being the highlight of the program. Its an even race with the main prospects being the New Zealand bred B T Captivate, Hez So Royal and the Ryan Hryhorec Lochinvar Leader.

The Hygain Sapling Stakes is another keen event with the inform Cecil Peak going for a hat trick up against last start Mildura winner Jades Reason and the SA BOTRA owned South Aussie Star.

And finally at Albion Park the question is whether Attachment can make it four on end in the Open class pace and he has every chance of doing so having drawn the pole.
