The 4.1/1 odds Mellby Jinx (7g Ready Cash-Heaven’s Door-Muscle Hill) rallied from the back in the lane to win today’s Finlandia AJO (purse 190,000€, 1620 meters, 10 starters) from post 10. Trainer Daniel Wajersten teamed the 12 time harness racing winner in 49 starts for 801,968€.

The Mellby Gard AB bred veteran is now an Elitloppet invitee. He was timed in 1.09.9kr versus the race record 1.09.6kr set by Cokstile in 2022. Stoletheshow won the last two editions.
Finishing second today was 16/1 Betting Pacer (8f Maharajah-Peignoir-Fast Photo) with trainer Bjorn Goop driving, followed by third finishing 25/1 odds Decision Maker (6f Nuncio-Full Authority-Scarlet Knight) with C.J. Jepson handling the Stefan Melander trained and owner performer.
The 35/1 odds pacesetter Combat Fighter (6g From Above-Days Of Glory-Easy Lover) held fourth for Ari Moilanen and trainer Antti Ojanpera, with 4.6/1 odds Double Deceiver (6g Cantab Hall-Sarcy-Donato Hanover) ending fifth for the Orjan Kihlstrom/Stall Zet/Daniel Reden team.
The 1.1/1 odds favorite Lozano di Quattro (trained by USA Hall of Famer Per K. Eriksson) ended seventh after making a run at the leaders in the final 400 meters and giving way mid-stretch.
