DOVER, Del. — McJagersonthemove,second in his previous two races, proved the best in the Thursday, Jan. 14 feature race at Dover Downs winning easily in 1:52.2 with harness racing driver Tony Morgan in the bike.
The McArdle-Grand fancy gelding lived up to his name moving into the lead and scoring by 3-lengths for trainer Willard Reynolds and owner Mark Howard in an $8,000 4&5-Year-Old Male pace. The victory of his second of the meet along with two seconds and three thirds in eight starts. Ace Of Sharks (Allan Davis) came on for second with Western Young Gun (George Dennis), third.
Allan Davis notched his second win guiding L&J Racing's Tataria, a four-year-old by Four Starzzz Shark-Pure Prize, to her second straight win and third in her last four starts racking up a 1:53.2 decision in the top female race of the day, a $9,500 3,4&5-Year-Old Filly and mare pace. Aarin Hanover (Jim Morand) and Casiano (Jonathan Roberts) finished second and third respectively.
Four drivers; Tony Morgan, Allan Davis, George Dennis, Brett Miler and trainer Williard Reynolds made the winner's circle twice each.
Dover Downs is dark on Friday and Saturday. Live racing resumes Sunday, post time is 5:30 p.m. Monday through Thursday weekday racing begins at p.m. 4:30 p.m.
