$100,000 Final to Roddy’s Bags Again filly

DOVER, Del.—– Logan's Girl fought off several challenges on the way to score her seventh win of the year turning back seven rivals for a 1:55 harness racing victory in the Delaware Standardbred Breeders Fund $100,000 Final on a breezy and cold Tuesday, Nov. 22 at Dover Downs.

Ross Wolfenden got the Roddy's Bags Again-All Italian filly away quickly and held on to win and notch both DSBF 2016 two-year-old filly pace titles – last October at Harrington and now at Dover Downs – raising her first-season bankroll to $140,250 for owner JoAnn Looney-King. Wolfenden drove both major wins for trainer Jim King. Magicinthemoonlite and Yannick Gingras was second nipping the Vic Kirby-driven Spanish Dream, who started from post 8, for place. Spinpressive (Corey Callahan) was fourth. It was Wolfenden's second win of the day. He drove Danish N Coffee in 1:56.1, one of trainer Joe Hundertpfund's three wins.

Diva Demands pulled off a 7-1 surprise to win the $20,000 DSBF consolation for owner-trainer George "Major" Leager. The Roddy's Bags Again-Me In The Spotlite brown filly broke her "maiden" with the 1:58 victory. Lillisbagsrpacked (Kirby) was second with KJ Dale (Gingras) third.

Allan Davis chalked up his third winner on the card steering Legacy Racing's Empress Deo to a front-end 1:52.3 score in the $20,000 Filly and Mare Open Handicap. Elliesjet N (Jonathan Roberts) closed along the passing lane for second with Miss Me Yet (Montrell Teague) the show horse. Davis began his triple driving 19-1 Party Rockin to victory in a $10,000 Claiming pace.

Along with Davis and trainer Joe Hundertfund's three wins; Yannick Gingras; Jonathan Roberts; owners-trainers Josh Green, JoAnn Looney-King and Jim king, and owner Bill Sartin, had two winners each.

The last of the four DSBF $100,000 finals is on for Wednesday featuring two-year-old filly trotters.
