The Meadows resumes with Keystone Classic

WASHINGTON, PA, Sept. 22, 2017 — Following a week’s hiatus, live harness racing at The Meadows Racetrack & Casino resumes Saturday, Sept. 23, with a card highlighted by an $86,900 Keystone Classic for 3-year-old colt and gelding pacers.

Throughout the fall/winter season, The Meadows will offer live racing at 1:05 PM each Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Saturday, with the exception of Christmas Day, when the track will be dark. Each program will offer a $5,000 total-pool Pick 4 guarantee.

The early part of the fall/winter schedule is rich with stake races, including:

  • Tuesday, Sept. 26 — $88,000 (est) Keystone Classic, 3-year-old colt and gelding trotters;
  • Wednesday, Sept. 27 —$75,000 (est) Keystone Classic, 3-year-old filly trotters;
  • Saturday, Sept. 30 — $72,000 (est) Keystone Classic, 3-year-old filly pacers;
  • Saturday, Oct. 7 — $200,000 Pennsylvania Fairs championships.
