Lisbonne Dry, Latinka Aimef Gr. II winners in Paris

Today’s twilight harness racing program at Paris-Vincennes was well attended and featured two Gr. II  monte events and another fast class race.

Unico Broline

In the  Prix Pythia (purse 75,000€, 2850 meters, 14 European starters ages 6-11) the 25/1 odds outsider Unico Broline (9g Cantab Hall-Notre Histoire) scored timed in 1.11.9kr. The winner was driven by Paul Phillippe Ploquin for trainer Thierry Duvaldestin and owner SS Aronsson AB. This was his second win in only four starts in France and advanced his career earnings to 416,959€.  Home second was 3.8/1 odds Gabriella Duem (9f Royal Dream) with Alexandre Abrivard driving the L.C. Abrivard trainee. Jingle du Pont (6g Niky) was third for trainer/driver Nicolas Bazire at 7/1 odds.

In the co-featured Prix Lavater-Etrier4 Ans Q3 (monte Gr. II, purse 120,000€, 2700 meters, 16 starters four year olds open) the 14/1 Lisbonne Dry (4f Singalo-Delicatessen-The Best Madrik) scored timed in 1.12.5kr.

Paul Philippe Ploquin was aboard this Patrick Ploquin trainee that Ecurie Dry owns. This was her third  career victory now for 198,190€ earned. L’Ecrin d’Or (4m Bird Parker-Quelle Emotion) was next at 17/1 with Alexandre Abrivard handling this L.C. Abrivard trainee that is owned and was bred by Richard William Denecherre who once very successfully campaigned the great mare Fan Idole that won the 2002 Trot Mondial  at Montreal defeating Varenne.

Third today was 12/1 Lexie de Banville (4f Real de Lou) with Adrien Lamy aboard for owner/trainer Thomas Levesque.

In the co-featured Prix Victor Cavey (monte Gr. II, purse 120,000€, 2700 meters, 11 starters five year olds  open) the 2.6/1 odds Katinka Aimef (5f Singalo-Aquarelle Aimef) scored in 1.12.7kr for jockey Alexis Collette, trainer Franck Leblanc and owner Michel Fitoussi.

Latinka Aimef

This was her seventh career win now for 257,790€ earned. Kid Bellay (5m Goetmals Wood) was second for jockey Eric Raffin at 4.8/1 odds with a game performance for trainer J.M. Baudouin. Keynote (5m Face Time Bourbon) was a distant third at 39/1 odds ridden by Victor Saussaye for trainer Bastien Michardiere. The 12/1 Kelly de Banville (5f Eriden) took fourth for jockey Paul Philippe Ploquin,
