The 15 time winner in 35 starts for 1,112,350€ is trained and owned by Philippe Allaire and was bred by Regis Merlet.  Off at 2.4/1 odds Koctel defeated 12/1 Kataki de Wallis (5m Charley du Noyer-Valley Charm) with Gabriele Gelormini aboard for Alain Chavatte who trains for Tramontom Srl. The 7.1/1 odds Kana de Beylev (5f Express Jet-Dina de Beylev) was third for Eric Raffin, driving for William Bigeon who trains for Joel Seche. Kanto Avis (5m Ready Cash-Ter Avis) took fourth at 2.1/1 odds favorite driven by Benjamin Rochard for trainer Marc Sassier  and breeder/owner Ecurie Dub’s. Kyoto Digeo (5m Clif du Pommereux) and Kyrielle (5f Enino du Pommereux) completed the top six to the line.

On the undercard was the Gr.III Prix du Vaucluse (purse 70,000€, 2700 meters, 13 four year old starters) and 2.5/1 odds favorite L’As Desbois (4m Booster Winner-Doria Desbois-In Love With You) prevailed in 1.12.3kr for his fourth career victory now for 192, 215€ earned. Love Letter (4f Roya Dream-Endiablee-Prodigious) was second at 7.5/1 for owner/trainer/driver Julien Dubois.

Bondo trainee to his 13 th career win in France from 10 appearances to advance his career earnings to 393,541€. Incolinx Di Diego Romeo owns the winner that defeated 12/1 Ibiscus Man (7g Booster Winner-Cathy Woman) for trainer/driver R.Ch. Larue and owned Daniel Larue. Igrec de Celland (7m Django Riff) landed third at 18/1 odds with David Thomain aboard the Christophe Jariel trained and owned performer. Hede Darling at 42/1 and Hubble du Vivier at 8/1 completed the top five the latter pair from the Bazire barn.

Perhaps the most impressive performance this day was the 8/10 odds favorite Liberte de Choisel (4f Captain Sparrow-River Love-Love You-La Fee) that won the Prix de Rennes (purse 52,000€, 2700 meters, 12 four year old female starters) timed in 1.13.7kr.
