Karambar wins Prix de Montier En Der at Vincennes

The 2.1/1 odds favorite Karambar (5g Dollar Macker-Badames) took today’s Paris-Vincennes featured Prix de Montier En Der (purse 71,000€, 2850 meters, 12 European five year old starters) with Alexandre Abrivard up. He was timed in 1.12.6kr and secured his 10th career harness racing victory in 23 starts for 237,365€. L.C. Abrivard trains this winner for Halima Karrouchi who owns the J-P Barjon bred trotteur.

Macahan (5m Maharajah-Filippa Hall) was second at 2.9/1 with Benjamin Rochard driving for Maria Tornqvist and KP Capulus  Horses.  Zoom Diamant (5g Maharajah-Keystone Tabby) was third at 10/1 odds for Robin Bakker, trainer Paul Hagoort  and SMS Diamanten.

The top five was completed by 7.1/1 odds Kevin  Prince (5g Follow You) and 17/1  Everytime Winner (5g Face Time Bourbon).

On the undercard was the Prix Emile Wendling (purse 62,000€, 2700 meters, 14 European three year old starters) and 3.9/1 odds  Moni Making Pace (3m International Moni-Landing Geometry) scored timed in 1.14.2kr with Matthieu Abrivard at the lines.

Dion P. Tesselaar trains the first time winner in France for Trotting BV. The winner has earned 63,518€. Guardami (3f Tactical Landing-Tast Of Bourbon) was second at 57/1 with Robin Bakker up for Andrea Guzzinati who trains for Rossana Cavaliere. The 10/1 Montequillo (3m Royal Dream-Endiablee) was third for driver Francois Lagadeuc, trainer Jean Philippe Dubois and Ecurie Victoria Dream. The 2.2/1 Mad Of You was unplaced.
