Today’s Cornulier race, the Prix de L’Ile de France (monte Gr I international, purse 200,000€, 2175 meters, 15 starters ages 4-11) at Paris-Vincennes went to rallying 43/1 odds Kapaula de L’Epine (6f Discours Joyeux-Paula JIM) with Adrien Lamy the jockey for trainer/owner Jeremy Van Eeckhaute.

Race time was a quick 1.10.0kr (mile rate 1:52.63) off very fast fractions set by second finishing 3.2/1 odds favorite It’s a Dollarmaker (8m Saxo de Vandel-Salt Lake City) handled by jockey Benjamin Rochard for trainer Sebastien Guarato and owner Gianni Fascella.
The 6.8/1 Je M’Envole (7m Joyaud’Amour-Virevoltante) ralled for third with trainer Mathieu Mottier up for Ecurie des Mouettes. Keengame (6f Express Jet-Red Bell)landed fourth at 12/1 for jockey Anthony Barrier, trainer J.P. Monclin and Ecurie Hunter Valley. Gold Voice (10f Jag de Bellouet-Lovely de Paris) was fifth at 101/1 odds ridden by Clement Frecelle for owner/breeder David Benchetrit and trainer Thomas Levesque.

This group was followed by Ideal du Chene, Elegance Kronos, Jean Balthazar, Hirondelle du Rib and last year’s race winner Ina du Rib.
