Jo Jo Toons wins 13th leg Trophee Vert

Jo Jo Toons (6g United  Back-Tata Marguerite-Indy de Vive) easily captured the 13th leg of the Trophee Vert series named the Grand Prix Montier-Jeannin  Auto  PMU CIG (purse 50,000€, 3025 meters distance handicap, 18  starters ages 6-10). 

Off at  5.5/1 odds the Maxime Bezier trained and driven trotteur  is owned by A.P. Bezier won for the sixth rime in 36 career starts for 171,480€.  Jewel Touch (Unicolve) at 11/1 was second with Amaury Bourgoin-Timbert up for P.L. Desanotte followed by 37/1 Jenny de Joudes (Sano de Vandel) with Alain Laurent up who is also trainer/owner. Hidalgo des Noes was fifth overcoming a 50 meter penalty.

At Vincennes the Prix d’Antibes (purse 62,000€,  2200 meters, nine three year old starters) saw 5.1/1 Milan (3g Earl Simon-Venice-Nice Love) score timed in 1.14.2kr for Theo Duvaldestin.

This Thierry Duvaldestin trainee that he owns has three career wins for 73,170€ earned. He upset second finishing 7/10 odds favorite Mouffetard (3m Face Time Bourbon-Usenza-Coktail Jet) that Sebastien Guarato trains for breeder/owner J.M. Tessier and Yoann Lebourgeois teamed. The 11/1 Maestro de L’Aurnay (3m Hooker Berry-Boucheka du Parc-Extreme Aunou) was third driven by Alexandre Abrivard for owner/trainer A.P. Grimault.

At Laval was the Prix Maine Fruits (purse 29,000€, 2850 meters distance handicap, 15 starters ages 5-11)   where 17/1 Keep Your Dreams (5m Follow You-Dream Life) was the upset winner for trainer/driver Julien Dubois.

Ecurie Victoria Dreams owns this one that Jean Philippe Dubois bred. The winner now sports seven career wins in 28 starts for 182,595€. Race time was 1.12.7kr. Key Of Love (5f Ready Cash-Une Love Star) was second at 142/1 odds with trainer Thibault Lamare driving for Gianni Fascella. Greco Bello (9g Un Mec d’Heripre) was third at 17/1 for Antoine Wiels and J.P. Marmion the oowner/trainer. These were followed by 7.6/1 It’s a Dollarmaker (7m Saxon de Vandel), 8.1/1 Kemia du Chene (5f Bird Parker) and 14/1 Just Love You (6f Love You). Well known Jushua Tree at 6/10 odds and handicapped 25 meters was a miscue dq. Ksar finished ninth at 43/1 and Josh Power was eighth these Also handicapped 25 meters.

Of note in France was the reported death of Texas Charm (2007 male by Cygnus d’Odyssee-Kamela Charm) that was bred by Jean Philippe Dubois and won 1,246,530€ from 15 wins in 75 starts. He took a 1.09.9kr speed badge.

Also the great Emmeraude de Bais (2014 foal mare by Repeat Love-Haute Tension) was retired after winning 1,203,160€from 22 career win in 121 starts. The Benjamin Goetz trainee took a 1.08.3kr record for owner Herve Carlus. Alission Christel bred the champion mare.
