Ino du Lupin wins Grand Prix du Centre Est

The J.P. Marmion bred/owned/trained Ino du  Lupin  (7g Scipion du Goutier-Tima d’Hermes) took the Grand Prix du Centre-Est-Gontran De No at Lyon A Parilly.  The Gr III event carried a100,000€ purse and was raced over 2850 meters distance handicap by 11 starters age 6-11.

Race time was 1.13.6kr and Antoine Wiels handled this 2.5/1 odds winner that now posts 24 career wins in 39 starts for 682,860€. Harley Gema (8f Bold Eagle-Reedite Gede-Buvetier  d’Aunou) was a fast closing second at 23/1 with Benjamin Rochard up for conditioner Marc Sassier.

Harmony  du Rabutin (8f Royal Dream-Taiga de Vive) was third at 6.6/1 odds driven by Serge Peltier for Ecurie du Rabutin and trainer G.R. Hughet, ahead of 2.2/1 Diamond Truppo (6m Varenne-Nives Manco) with Clement Duvaldestin driving for Pachino Horse Srls. And trainer Thierry Duvaldestin. Horchestro (8g Sam Bourbon) at 9/1 and 5.8/1 odds Inato Pierji (7g Uniclove) completed the to six. It’s a Dollarmaker and Gendreen were miscue dq’s.
