The Gr. III Prix Caecilia (purse 70,000€, 2700  meters, 15 starters four year olds open) saw Lancier du Goutier (4m Ready Cash-Elissi James) score impressively timed in 1.11.8kr as the 1.8/1 odds harness racing favorite.

The winner now has eight career victories in 11 starts for 124,550€. Theo Duvaldestin teamed the Ecurie Saint Martin owned stallion that Thierry Duvaldestin trains. Lover Man (4m Magnificent Rodney-Cenora) was second at 5.2/1 for trainer/driver Mathieu Mottier and breeder/owner Dominique Mottier.

Live To Tell (4m Fifty Kalouma-Fabulous Sam) was third at 22/1 odds with Damien Bonne driving for owner Jacques Cottel and trainer Alexandre Buisson. The 7.7/1 odds Love Letter (4f Royal Dream) was fourth followed by 55/1 odds Lord de Loiron (4m Royal Dream).

The co-featured Gr. III Prix Jean Riaud (International, purse 90,000€, 2850 meters, nine starters ages 5-11) went to  5/10 odds favorite Inexess Bleu(7g Vittel  de Brevol-Pearl Of Charm) timed in 1.12.4kr.

The Alexandre Abrivard reined, L.C. Abrivard trained veteran is owned by his breeder Michel Gallier and now sports 20 wins in 50 career starts for 858,280€.   Gaspar L’Angis (9g Quaro-Reveuse  d’Angis) was second at 6/1  odds for driver Eric Raffin and trainer J.M. Baudouin followed by 29/1 Fakir de Mahey (10m Reve de Beylev-Mahey Storm) with trainer Mathieu Mattier up.

This group was followed by 52/1 Gendreen (9g Boccador de Simm), 3.9/1 Ino du Lupin (7g Scipion du Goutier), Ina du Rib  (7f Uhland de Val) at 83/1 odds and 94/1 Jean Balthazar (6m Alto  de Viette) completed the top seven top the line.
