Indulge Me primed for Nevele Final and Rakmacknra wins again
The three Nathan Williamson runners who won at Winton today confirmed their ticket to Cup Week in Christchurch.
Indulge Me (Downbytheseaside) capitalised on getting the perfect trip in the outside running line, peeled out and came home nicely under the urgings of trainer driver Nathan Williamson to win by two and a quarter lengths.
INDULGE ME REPLAY
“She went good and won nicely. I was rapt with her. She’s never going to win by a fancy margin. Once she hits the front she doesn’t want to do a lot,” Williamson said.

The three year old filly will now head to Addington for the $200,000 Nevele R Fillies Final on Cup Day in ten days time.
“She had a nice wee blow so that was perfect.”
Rakmacknra (Captaintreacherous) enjoyed his return to the bigger track and won his third race at start five. He settled back early, circled the field with a lap to run to lead and he won by a length and quarter.
RAKMACKNRA REPLAY
“I was really pleased with that. It was a step in the right direction. He was disappointing in his fourth here and we found a wee problem with him. I thought his run in town (Invercargill) for fourth was really good which was his first go on a tighter track. He’s had another wee health setback in between. He’s just on the way back now and the South of the Waitaki will be lovely for him.”

Williamson is also considering Party Time, Off The Canvas, Secret Agent Man and Cheer Up And Dance for the race.
“Cheer Up N Dance is only a rating 38 so she needs to win here next Sunday to get into the bracket (rating band).”
In the next race Tarragindi (Majestic Son) came off the 40 metres handicap to win his seventh race.
The Bev Williamson owned squaregaiter made up his handicap with relative ease and was soon in the outside running line. Turning in, Nathan eased him out and he powered home centre track to beat Have A Little Faith by a length.
Williamson says Tarragindi will race in a faster trot on Cup Day and back up again on Show Day.
“The reason he’s here today and racing on both days at Cup Week is he has to have four more runs before the cut off for the Harness 5000.”
