Illawong Byron accepts Jewels invite

2yo Trotter ILLAWONG BYRON has been officially invited and has accepted an invitation to compete in the 2yo Ruby at the Cambridge Harness Jewels.

Set to race this Friday night at Kilmore, trainer Jodi Quinlan reports that her charge will improve with the run under his belt.

Illawong Byron will then head to a heat and hopefully final of the platinum series prior to the Jewels.

All going well he will head to Cambridge and become the 4th Australian invited to compete on one of New Zealand's biggest days.

Illawong Byron joins Arms Of An Angel, Heza Bromac and My Kiwi Mate as the current Australian invites and continues the amazing run of Muscle Mass, who's young prodigy has been performing exceptionally this season.
