Igrec de Celland crosses France to beat rivals

Having traveled from Normandy to compete in the Grand Prix de Salon-de-Provence, Igrec de Celland (Django Riff) brilliantly accomplished his mission, following a golden course set by Théo Briand.

Closing in on the leaders, Icare de Phyt’s (Carat Williams) and Iru Fushi (Love You) engaged in a duel that ultimately proved fatal for both, the former GNT winner proved unstoppable in the last 200 meters, as soon as his driver shifted him back

“When you feel like you’re going to win the whole race, you get a real kick out of it… He didn’t need to pull out all the stops to win. He’s a little star”, said his driver.

“He loves being driven like that, the method that enabled him to win three stages of the GNT. I hope to find another one like him one day, but I’m not sure…” commented his trainer Christophe Jariel, who was particularly moved.

Héros d’Yvel (Un Amour d’Haufor) came in a strong second ahead of Inato Pierji (Uniclove), who also put in a good performance with his four shoes on.
