Freezing rain that coated the track has prompted The Meadows Racetrack & Casino to cancel Saturday's live harness racing card.

The track and its Harmar facility remain open for simulcast viewing and wagering.

Live racing resumes Monday when The Meadows kicks off a pre-Christmas week that features five straight days of racing.

First post Monday through Friday is 1 PM.
