I Am Hellbound just keeps winning
New South Wales most improved trotter I Am Hellbound (Father Patrick) scored one of his best harness racing wins when he outstayed a classy field of trotters in the For A Reason Standing at Cobbity Equine trotters event at Menangle on Saturday night.

The action was on right from the beginning when Watts Up Partytime and Constantinople showed blistering speed with the latter taking up the running.
Former New Zealander Paramount Kiwi broke up yet again losing all chance as well as Rakero Blaze who also broke up when scoring up.
I AM HELLBOUND 23 MAY REPLAY
Luke McCarthy set a brisk pace on Constantinople early and I Am Hellbound was forced to race outside the leader. Scott Hewitt on I Am Hellbound allowed his horse to gradually move up to nearly draw level while London To A Brick who was resuming from a spell was one out and two back just behind Speedy Lover.
Constantinople and I Am Hellbound matched strides on straightening and London To A Brick started to issue his challenge. Constantinople refused to give in and in a driving finish I Am Hellbound poked his head just in front of a very gallant Constantinople to win by a head with London To A Brick just under four metres away in third.
The mile rate was a very impressive 1.53.3.
London To A Brick was probably just short in race fitness and he’ll improve on that effort.
I Am Hellbound is racing in great form having won his last three starts at Menangle. He was not nominated for the Inter Dominion but he certainly deserves an invitation for the Group 1 Great Square at Albion Park that will be run in early July. Winning that event would gain an invitation to the Inter Dominion.
Both Constantinople and London To A Brick are nominated for the Inter Dominion. Constantinople is racing in great heart and the veteran is going well enough to cause an upset in the heats. London To A Brick races well around the Albion Park circuit and trainer James Rattray is sure to have him race ready for the series.
