Harness Breeders NSW (HBNSW) has announced a new races series for two and three year old fillies will be conducted in country New South Wales. HBNSW in conjunction with Bathurst, Goulburn, Wagga and Young Harness Racing Clubs are pleased to announce the 'Princess Series' will be run between February and May this year with each of the eight races carrying an extra $1,500 in prize money.

HBNSW and the participating clubs have formulated this series of races for 2YO and 3YO Fillies to give them an opportunity to race their own sex for increased prize money.

President of HBNSW Darryll Kell praised the clubs for getting involved in the series and would like to see it expand further.

"As a group we really appreciate the support and contribution by each of the clubs involved with the new Princess Series," Kell said.'

"HBNSW hopes to see the series grow in future years and with the additional money being offered in each of the events we are looking forward to watching the fillies competing against one another."
