Hi Manameisjeff scorches in sub 1.50
Menangle specialist Hi Manameisjeff (Art Major) proved yet again he revels at this track with another devastating harness racing display to take out the Condell Park Free For All at Sydney’s premier track on Saturday night.

Perfectly drawn in barrier 2 Hi Manameisjeff had no trouble whatsoever to find the lead and that allowed driver Cameron Hart to dictate his own terms in front.
Whilst he was expected to win few might have believed that he could run such a blistering time.
Classy mare Steno took the train while Ripp had no luck early caught three wide before going up outside the leader. Former New Zealander Pinseeker had the one out and two back sit.
HI MANAMEISJEFF 11 APR REPLAY
After running his quarter in 27.1 seconds, Hi Manameisjeff was still upping the ante with a second quarter of 28.6 seconds but the best was yet to come. Hi Manameisjeff took off again with a third quarter of 26.9 seconds to have his rivals well and truly off the bit. Steno had plenty of room to issue a challenge and although she refused to give in and made up a little ground, Hi Manameisjeff still had plenty of reserve to win by just over two metres from Steno with Pinseeker doing his best work in third.
Running his final quarter in 26.5 seconds gave an overall mile rate was 1.49.1 and gave Hi Manameisjeff his 16th success at Menangle a remarkable record for the nine year old gelding.

Despite his impressive record at Menangle, Hi Manameisjeff has proved to be capable in other big races as evidenced by his narrow loss to Kingman in the Group 1 Victoria Cup at Melton last October.
Driver Cameron Hart was full of praise for Hi Manameisjeff
He has a great record and he loves racing here. He’s probably done his best racing here and he runs great miles all the time. He’s been through his own battles over the years but he keeps turning up. He’s just a great old horse to be part of. He’s had quite a few lengthy time offs in his career and it’s a credit to Jason and Mick and obviously the horse himself just to turn up and race at the highest level every time he’s come back which is pretty hard to do.
I’m pretty proud of the horse and hopefully he can go a bit longer he’s had a great six months.
For Hart it proved to be yet another highly successful evening as he took out the opening two events on Classic Mission (Vincent) and Nerano ( Tintin In America). He then teamed up with Jarrod Alchin to steer Can Be A Reube (Always B Miki) in the mares event.
