Hennessey bangs away again with four winners
Wally Hennessey drove four harness racing winners at Tioga Downs on Monday (September 5).
Hennessey and Prairie Panther (Royel Millennium) captured the $15,000 Open Pace.
Machiatto A (Mike Simons) grabbed the early lead, but Prairie Panther zoomed right on by and led to the first quarter in :27.3. He used a :28.4 second quarter to be first to the half in :56.2. Scootnroll (Jeff Long) made a first-over move but stalled as they headed for the final turn. Prairie Fortune was first to three-quarters in 1:24.1.
As they reached the stretch Machiatto A pulled out of the pocket and went all out after Prairie Panther. Prairie Panther let out another notch and won easily in 1:51.4. Machiatto A had to settle for second. Luciano N (Brandon Parker) finished third.
