Bluegrass Stakes division winners gain in Poll

Freehold, NJ — Bluegrass Stakes division winners Ariana G, Manchego, Filibuster Hanover and Caviart Ally all enjoyed gains in this week’s harness racing Hambletonian Society/Breeders Crown poll.

Ariana G remained No. 1 and added four first-place votes to her total, giving the 3-year-old female trotter 25.

Manchego won for the ninth time in nine starts and moved from fifth to third in this week’s rankings, behind idle Fear The Dragon in the No. 2 spot.

Filibuster Hanover and Caviart Ally joined the Top 10, at positions nine and 10, respectively.

The Hambletonian Society/Breeders Crown poll does not determine Horse of the Year. The U.S. Harness Writers Association votes in December on all Dan Patch Award division winners plus Trotter of the Year, Pacer of the Year and Horse of the Year.

Rankings based on the votes of harness racing media representatives on a 10-9-8-7-6-5-4-3-2-1 basis.
