The revamped e-Gazette was developed in response to feedback from industry participants and stakeholders, giving the sport a dedicated platform to celebrate the people, horses and events that make NSW harness racing one of Australia’s strongest jurisdictions.

The inaugural edition covers Captains Mistress’ Inter Dominion win, the first Nutrien Finals Series at Riverina Paceway, Trot NSW Finals Night, a preview of Season 4 of the Carnival of Cups and the return of The TAB Eureka, plus a recap of the Harness Racing NSW Awards.

Feature profiles include mini-trots graduate Milla Sutton, industry identities Darren Binskin and Harry Martin, and an interview with owner Emilio Rosati. There’s also a spotlight on the Eugowra Harness Racing Club and the role country clubs play in the sport.

HRNSW Chairman Doug Freeman said the return was driven by feedback from participants and stakeholders wanting a publication that keeps them informed and celebrates the industry’s positive stories.

“Harness racing is about so much more than what happens on the racetrack,” Freeman said. “It’s about the people, the clubs, the volunteers, the owners, breeders, trainers and drivers who work tirelessly to make our industry what it is.”
