Harness racing superstar Lazarus is back at the trials today in preparation for his defense of this years Christchurch Casino New Zealand Trotting Cup.

Last week Lazarus started in a two horse workout at Rangiora with stablemate Heaven Rocks and managed to hold that pacer out by a short margin after leading all the way.

Today Heaven Rocks and Lazarus are joined by stablemate and New Brighton Cup winner Have Faith In Me and three other rivals in the trial over 2600m from the standing start.
