Harness racing hits Rangiora again today with 10 races on the card . The racing starts at 11:54am and we highlight some specials and value runners we think can give you a run for your money on a good day of racing.

Race 1

Times Are A Changin (6) At her best would go close here. Due to find form. Has to be included
Buddy Reign (2) Small field will help and likely early leader. Good win last start. Needed here
Didjashoutthebar (1) Getting better with racing and drawn for a soft trip. Place chance in this

Race 2

Amass (9) Change of trainer and has a big reputation. Looks hard to beat in this line-up. Top selection
Major Hipster (8) Will be fitter and going for three in a row. Hard to beat if he can find the front
Country Gold (3) Improver from her last start and conditions suit. Top three chance here at longer odds

Race 3

Billy Kimber (14) Solid second last start and a winning chance if he brings his manners early. Include
A Reason To Fight (2) Has early speed and short distance will help. Should give a good account
Kashanova (1) Stable respect and has trialed well on the track, Winning claims with no mistakes early

Race 4

Kotare Kelso (8) Change of trainer and previous runs have been good. Look for an improved run here
Logan Rock (1) Has gate speed and trained on the track. Should give a good account from the ace draw
Sofia Rose (4) Out of form but improver with a place chance at longer odds in this. Could surprise

Race 5

Elektra King (11) Fought on last start in a stronger field. Top selection in this and should run top three
Blazing Knuckles (12) Attacked in the lead last start and well placed here. Good each way chance
Banksy (1) On debut from strike rate stable. Trailing draw and should get a soft trip. Include here

Race 6

Brian Beatt (2) Good against a similar field last start. Good beginner and hard to beat against this lot
Bullit Train (4) Should get a soft run handy. Driver change and look for an improved run in this field
Sunny Louis (5) Due to show form and is drawn ok here. Has won on the track in the past. Needed

Race 7

Slyx (5) Running on late last start in a stronger field. Needs to get handy but drawn ok and can win
Sovereign Lou (7) Tricky draw but should go close to placing in this. Has been finishing ok in his races
Christies Art (14) In good form but terrible draw for this. Top three if he gets a cart into the race

Race 8

Sacetas (5) Disappointing last start but better than that. Can go close in this with a soft run in transit
Rack’em Up (4) Decent motor and is drawn well here. One of the better chances but up in grade
Treasure Cove (6) Improver who was ok in stringer field last start. Winning claims with the right trip

Race 9

Dash Dosh (13) Better than the form suggests and will be running on. Tricky draw but can win
Buffy Northstains (12) Decent motor and this race looks ideal. One of the better chances in this
Musclynn (3) Never far away from the placings. Will continue to improve and place hope again here

Race 10

Zarlini (5) Has raced better fields in recent starts. Drawn well here and looks a good bet. Needed
Lord Mudrick (7) Wider draw but has gate speed and races best near the front. Has to be respected
Judine  (9) Good finish last start and can do some work mid race. Conditions suit but tricky draw
