Harness racing hits Rangiora again today with 11 races on the card . The racing starts at 11:35am and we highlight some specials and value runners we think can give you a run for your money on a good day of racing.

Race 1

Sweet Dreams (4) Better than the form suggests and much better draw. Can run top three in this
Anytime At All (1) Ace draw will help and should begin quickly. Improver after good third here
Patiro (5) Has been disappointing but trained locally and could surprise with a good run in transit

Race 2

Billy Kimber (11) Needs manners to show his best but has speed at the finish. Has to be included
Just Easy (1) Never far away in the last few races and will be fitter.  One of the main chances
Muscle Dash (4) Freshened and good enough to run a place at longer odds. Top three chance here

Race 3

Lord Mudrick (5) Has been unlucky and drawn ok. Races best when trailing and better run expected
Fast Ace (6) Racing fairly and a threat to these with a good run in transit. Needs the right trip to figure
Arizonawildcat (2) Good effort last start and similar draw. Can sneak into the top three if he leads

Race 4

Paddy McDaddy (5) Solid last campaign and looks stronger. Winning chance from the draw. Include
Majic N The Port (3) Trialing well and should give a good account after his first up fifth. Needed
B K Mumma Jamie (11) In form and can begin quickly on occasions. In the mix and good each way hope

Race 5

Ohoka Cobra (10) Fought on last start in a stronger field. Drawn for a soft trip and top selection in this
Arista (11) Had excuses last start and well placed here. Each way chance at massive odds. Roughy
Spirit Downunder (1) Will be fitter after last start. Best draw and should get a soft trip. Include here

Race 6

Brian Beatt (1) Good beginner who has been racing better fields. Hard to beat here with a trailing position
Musclynn (6) Should get a soft run handy. Winning claims and should give a sight on her home track.
Crown The Moment (2) Running on last start and drawn well here. Stable always a chance on this track

Race 7

Cash Is King (3) On debut but stable respect and has been ok at trials. Will need luck but could surprise
Rack’em Up (10) On a new campaign but has ability and should go close to placing in this. Needed here
Beaudiene Always B (1) Nearing form and should get a good run near the speed. Top three chance

Race 8

Pinseeker (10) Fastest horse in the field and will be running on. Tricky handicap but can go close in this
Here’s Herbie (4) Decent motor and is drawn well here. Top chance if he can find the front again. Include
Double Time (9) In good from and conditions suit for this. Will continue to improve and place hope again

Race 9

Just Foxin (2) Nice draw to work with here. At his best would go close and look for a better effort here
Shake A Leg (5) Decent motor and is drawn well here. Turn around in form likely in this field. Win chance
Miki Bennett (10) Disappointing last start but freshened for this. Big motor when 100% fit and needed

Race 10

Paige (3) Has raced better fields in the past. Drawn well here looks a good bet. Has to be respected
Buffy Northstains (4) Front row draw and better than most in this field. Upset claims at longer odds
Midnight Diamond (11) Has trialed well and can do some work mid race. Could surprise in fresh state

Race 11

Radioactive Jaffa (11) Should get a good run through at the start. Can go close here in a weaker field
Sargent Best (3) Drawn for a soft trip near the front. Winning claims if he can get one run at them
He’s Tough (4) Likely to race close to the speed here. Back in form and is a place hope again in this
