Harness racing hits Banks Peninsula again today with eleven races on the card. The racing starts at 12:10pm and we highlight some specials and value runners we think can give you a run for your money on a good afternoon of racing.

Race 1

Tectonic (12) Raced well in age group racing last campaign. Has to rate highly in this
King Of Diamonds (11) Last few runs have been better than they look on paper. Include
Lovey Dovey Nova (8) Has been racing well in similar fields. One for longer odds

 

Race 2

Mapua Missie (5) Grass suits and in good form. Looks one of the major players
God Dam (8) Getting better with racing and grass should suit. Can run top three
Ambleside Drive (1) Drawn well and has been raced ok on grass. Needed here

 

Race 3

Ideal Chevron (13) Out of form but better than that. Will be running on here at odds
James Cagney (1) Has been a bit average but drawn to get a soft run. Win chance
Sir Monty (10) Drawn to get a run through early. Out of form but worth throwing in

 

Race 4

Lester (2) Rise in grade should be no problem. Can go on with it here. Needed
Takemybreathaway (4) Quick beginner who might try to lead in this. Winning claims
Melania (1) Has a nice draw and racing well. Can run top three with a safe beginning.

 

Race 5

Boyz Invasion (12) Has won here in the past and capable of beating this field with luck.
Ginas Majesty (3) Better for the last start run and races well on the track. Include
Rachmaninov (1) Good draw and should get a cosy run in transit. Not the worst

.

Race 6

Razors Edge (1) Racing well and better suited in this field. Good chance from the draw
Times Are A Changin (9) Wide draw but when right is very speedy. Can run top three
Nyla (6) Ok last start and has gate speed. Place chances here and grass suits. Include

 

Race 7

Classie Linc (4) Drawn well and and might race close to the speed here. Can win
Bri Express (6) Coming in fresh but speedy mare. Win chance and grass suits
Aiming For Glory (11) Has raced well on grass and could get a run through early.

 

Race 8

Tiger Taylor (5) Down on form but well placed in this field. Good winning chance
Watch That Man (13) Tricky draw but grass suits.He can loop them and run top three
Press Play (4) Raced well on grass and better. Should race well at longer odds

 

Race 9

Buckskin  (8) Tricky handicap but smaller field will help. Good winning chance
Manjimup (3) Should be fit enough after workouts and grass suits. Can run top three
Maren Franco (7) Loves the track and has a big finish. Might go close with the right trip

 

Race 10

Illegal Alien (1) Quick beginner who will go forward early. Top selection in this
Slippery Mistress (8) Building some form and has had a slight freshen. Needed here
Buffy Northstains (13) Tricky draw but usually holds form. Winning claims with manners

 

Race 11

Barnstormer (8) Out of form but well suited here. Winning claims back on grass
Jordy (11) Tricky draw but not the worst in this. Can run top three with luck
Amarla (12) Good win two starts ago on grass. Suspect manners early but needed here
