Methven selections 30th October 2020

 

Race 1

Make My Sundon fast beginner who would take some catching if she found the front. Can win at good odds.…… Fast Whispering tough run last start but stuck on well. Grass will suit and has winning claims.… Yea You  gets a draw to follow speed and has trialled well on the track. Can upset with a soft run in transit……..      Greenbank Betty looks to have comeback stronger this time in and the $15.00 on fixed is over the odds. Can win

Race 2

Miss Behavin tidy second last start and draw is ideal. Good winning claims but will be at short odds ……. Iron Woman has ability but manners are questionable . Can place with a good run in transit …… Play By Ear has been close up in similar fields and could run top three with a good run in the race…… Justace keeps getting some bad draws but good third here two starts ago. Could surprise in what is an even field

Race 3

Unchanged Memory has been running good races against better fields and has drawn front line here. Hard to beat with manners at good odds….. Westar Lad unlucky last start and will be fitter here. One of the leading chances in the race  ….. Cristiano Buccini draw not great but he has the speed to be a major player here. Winning claims with a cart into the race…. New York Man tricky draw but has run some good races in stronger fields. Place chances best

Race 4

Linton Shard coming in fresh with a change of trainer. Draw and distance suit and he could surprise at good odds with a trail in the race…..      Invisible Girl likes to race near the lead and could be hard to catch if she found the front early. Winning claims…..         Essence Of Easton disappointing last start but driver change and back to grass. One for longer odds…. Go Davey at his best would be hard to beat here but out of form. Give one more chance

Race 5

Sudaman running on last start in a strong Addington field. Draw not great but has the speed to win this and over the odds at $5.00…… Fraud was a bit disappointing last start but drawn well and field not as strong. Can place at good odds… Tyke getting better with racing and like to lead. Top three player in this field….. Hope For Love first start at the races but trials have been ok and grass no issues. One for longer odds

Race 6

Superstar Legend goes back to original trainer but grass suits and gate speed to lead if they push the button. Could surprise at good odds.….. Dynamite tricky draw but better than that and running on last start in a stronger field. Can win if he brings his a-game but place chances best…… Pete's Dash has been racing ok and drawn well. A bit one paced but could grind into a top three position .… Auchtercairn out of form but at her best would be right in this. Include at longer odds

Race 7

Foreigner getting fitter and drawn well. Looks a nice top three chance from the draw ……. Take After Me goes the odd good race and grass suits. Can run top three.… Some Time coming in fresh and does go well in that state. Can run top three with luck in the running…… Carnegie Hall manners have been lacking but has the ability to get into the placings here. One for longer odds

Race 8

Duastar  runs well on grass and one of the leading players in the race if she goes forward early……. Booraa tricky draw to contend with but last start win was no fluke. Can upset if they go hard all the way..… Hells Shadow good second here last start and short distance suits. Can win….. She's Tough good fourth last start but paced roughly in the running. Has ability but place looks best from the draw

Race 9

Ashes To Ashes runs well on grass and good beginner. One of the leading players in the race if he can trail in the race……. Champagneandwine tricky draw to contend with but races well on the track. Winning claims and top selection..… Tombelina good beginner and short distance suits. Could get a good run on the fence and can place at big odds….. Makasar Boy racing better than the form looks on paper. Has ability but will be tough from the draw
