Harness racing hits Invercargill again today with 10 races on the card. The racing starts at 5:49pm and we highlight some specials and value runners we think can give you a run for your money on a good night of racing.

Race 1

Turn N Burn (8) Wide draw but trials have been great. Should run top three here. Needed
King Hit (5) Just pipped on debut and should begin quickly. Stable respect and include here
Enoka (7) Getting better with racing and Canterbury runners do well here. Winning claims

Race 2

He’s Tough (11) At his best would go close in this. Needs luck from the draw but can improve
Durrant (2) Better draw and running on last start . Not the worst and one for longer odds
The Bricklayer (12) Improver from his last start and can run top three from a tricky draw 

Race 3

Delphyne (6) Going nice races from terrible draws. Can improve further and go close again here
Kings Choice (2) Tidy run for third last start in a similar field. Draw suits and has winning claims
Becky’s Girl (5) Good effort last start and will be hard to beat after some nice Addington runs

Race 4

Snap Shot (7) Freshened and at her best would be hard to beat in this field. Winning claims
Always A Menace (5) Has been racing well in Canterbury. Should give a good account in this
Sandy Shore (1) Disappointing the last couple but driver change and nice draw. Improver here

Race 5

Transonic (12) Nice win last start and stable respect. Good enough to win again here. Include
Beluga (5) Solid run of form and well placed here. Good each way chance if he goes forward
Treacherous Dreams (3) Will be fitter after last start 3rd. Nice draw and should get a soft trip. 

Race 6

B D Hall (2) Still a bit green and needs to step but no doubting ability. Hard to beat against this lot
Errol D (3) In good form for this. Winning claims with a soft trailing run. Worth including here
Nubliah Chamay (4) Good beginner who will race near the leaders. One for longer odds with luck 

Race 7

B B Crunch (1) Gets her chance here after some nice runs the last couple. Draw gives her an advantage
Ebonezy (5) Big run for second last start should go close to placing in this. Top three player here
Princess Renee (9) Has a big reputation and should get a good run near the speed. Winning claims

Race 8

Duchess Of Kent (6) Disappointing in a tough field last start. Easier here and should go close to winning
Just Like Jagger (3) Decent motor and has been freshened. Chance at odds with a good run in transit
Tosana (5) Likely to head forward early. Will continue to improve and will be in it for a long way here

Race 9

Mr Love (6) Form horse in the field after some nice Addington runs. Conditions suit and top driver booked
Muscle Mountain (7) Big motor and 35m handicap the only concern. One of the better winning chances
Midnight Dash (5) Out of form but capable on his best day of filling a place here. One for longer odds

Race 10

The Lazarus Effect (5) Has raced well in similar fields. Hard to run down if he can find the front in this
Republican Party (9) Tricky handicap but better than most in this field. Winning claims and in form
Alta Meteor (8) Good gritty placing last start and can do some work mid race. Could surprise here

Race 11

Eun Sogno (6) Going for three in a row after some nice Addington wins. Conditions suit and top selection
Sonofamistery (7) Big motor and wide draw the only concern.  Stable in great form and hard to beat
Side Hustle (5) Has won his last couple but harder here. Top three claims with a good run in transit

Race 12

J T Boe (8) In winning form and this field looks easier than his last win. Top selection and should go close
Seaside Rose (11) Tricky draw but better than most in this field. Winning claims and top driver booked
Haley Jaccka (7) Good second last start and can do some work mid race. Could lob into a top three place
