Harness racing hits Gore again today with nine races on the card. The racing starts at 12:59pm and we highlight some specials and value runners we think can give you a run for your money on a good day of racing.

Best Bet:  R6  The Wulver

Best Value:  R7  Major Art

Race 1

Robyns Hustler (7) Made ground from a bad draw last start. Smaller field helps. Needed
Whata Razzle Dazzle (4) At his best would go close in this. Would pay to include here
Sherwood Maggie (6) Battling away in stronger races. Could surprise with her gate speed

 

Race 2

Aretha (6) Good at recent workouts and impressive last campaign. Looks a good bet
Here’s Johny (5) One of the better chances based on his runs last campaign in strong fields.
Drummershavtime (4) Improver this time in and drawn to play a part. Can run top three

 

Race 3

Always On Sale (8) Stable in good form and has been racing well. Should place in this
Cold Pursuit (6) Has been disappointing but better last start. One for longer odds here
Foxing Easton (1) Unlucky last start and should get a soft run. Major player here. Needed

 

Race 4

Babe On The Beach (11) Tidy third on debut and has come south. Good winning chance
Gati (3) Stable and driver respect in this. Could surprise fresh and has to be included
Bubble Me (8) Tricky draw but has gate speed. Drops down in class for this. Can win

.

Race 5

Emily (2) Stable does well on the track and the the motor is there. Winning claims again here
Del’s Creation (7) Has raced well against better fields. Tricky handicap but looks a chance
Our Pinocchio (6) Stable respect and ok after working last start. Look for a good run in this

 

Race 6

The Wulver (1) Last start was slightly unlucky and draw suits. Top selection from the ace
No Added Sugar (5) Disappointing last start. Even field but winning claims with a good trip
Sagwitch (7) Can fly the gate and might try for the front here. Chance if he leads up in this

 

Race 7

Major Art (4) Conditions suit and stable going well. Chance at longer odds if fully fit fresh
Remission (3) Drops back from Addington company. Likely early leader who will go close
Bismarck Du Plessis (5) Top driver booked and might head forward early. Will stick on here

 

Race 8

Superfast Ronnie (9) Broke early last start and battled after. Look for an improved effort
Zsazsa Binx (6) Average run last start but begins well and can run top three here with luck
Madison’s Moon (2) Broke last start but gets a head start on the favourites. Upset claims

 

Race 9

Brookies Player (6) Looks a big improver and small track suits. Top selection here
Bobbies Rock (3) Decent motor and a chance with a quick beginning. One for longer odds
Rollon Summer (1) Easy win last start. Will continue to improve and place hope again here
