Harness racing hits Gore again today with 12 races on the card. The racing starts at 11:55am and we highlight some specials and value runners we think can give you a run for your money on a good day of racing.

Race 1

Itsallaboutthemoney (3) Tidy Ascot third and loves the grass. Draw suits and a big chance.
Van Liberty (2) Draws haven’t helped lately. Much better alley today and rates right up.
Always A Menace (12) Freshened since smart efforts. Has the motor to win if the gaps come.

Race 2

Franco Hefner (8) Maiden win was very soft. Has upside and can take another step today.
Hobbs (6) Got too far back last start. This is suitable and can’t be dropped.
Call Dudley (4) New barn and no trials. Has met stronger company and must be kept safe.

Race 3

Cheeky Joe (8) Made good ground for third on grass. Draw hurts but she’s still a player.
Brother Rob (11) Best form is on grass tracks. Needs luck but has to be considered again.
Nana’s Little Terror (1) Fresh without a trial but loves grass. Ace draw gives each-way claims.

Race 4

Jay Bee Hill (5) Freshened up but likes the grass. Handy last prep form and can feature.
What’s The Whisper (12) Made ground after early mistake last time. Risky but good enough to win.
Idle Lilly (10) Only fair on grass last start. Needs her best manners to be a threat.

Race 5

Havtimefordiamonds (5) Needs to lift on last run, but grass form is the guide here.
Byllee J (2) Forgive last start. Sweet draw helps and she can run into the money.
Sure To Rise (8) Form building nicely and she handles grass. Wide draw, but still each-way.

Race 6

Joany Baby (2) Huge late in her Winton second. Proven on grass and right in this.
Torquay Street (7) Honest type who sticks on. Needs the right run but can get involved.
Harriet’s Moment (10) Tidy form and a grass win three back. Must be respected with luck.

Race 7

Franco Seb (3) Doing the work in recent grass placings. Looks set to go close again.
Iron Heart (4) Forgive last start. Grass debut but has ability to mix it on his best.
Babe On The Beach (5) Chased hard in a Winton second. Loves the grass and rates highly.

Race 8

Domination’s Call (2) Grass-track specialist and 10m looks ideal. Hard to beat if he trots.
Hidden Talent (7) Manners have let her down lately. If she behaves, she’s dangerous class.
Practical Magic (5) Flying on grass recently. Still well handicapped and deserves top respect.

Race 9

Tuneinsportsfans (10) Gutsy Oamaru win and holds grade. Needs luck from draw but must include.
Jenny Gump (2) Back to a better grade for him. Should get every chance from the draw.
Cold Pursuit (11) Fair last start after a tidy grass win. Capable if he gets cover.

Race 10

The Big Lebowski (12) Huge cup win from this mark before. In great touch and can repeat.
Wag Star (10) Narrowly beaten in recent cups. Deserves a win and is a major hope.
Cocktails And Caviar (6) Worked hard in a Cup third. Handy handicap and must be respected.

Race 11

Nubliah Chamay (1) Got too far back last time. Suited here and solid each-way claims again.
Spiritinthesky (5) Big win last start and loves grass. Harder now but still rates strongly.
Krackaling (2) In good touch lately and nothing suggests it stops. Genuine winning hopes.

Race 12

Magnetic Beckers (10) Competed in a tougher grade last start. Loves grass and right in this.
C C Arden (11) Forgive first-up run. Trial was tidy and he has ability to bounce back.
Insarchatwist (12) Took on a tougher task last start. Loves grass and deserves big respect.
