Harness racing hits Cambridge again today with 8 races on the card. The racing starts at 5:11pm and we highlight some specials and value runners we think can give you a run for your money on a good night of racing.

Best Bet:  R1  Skys Legacy

Best Value:  R7   Commander Lincoln

Race 1

Skys Legacy (1) Back on grit and much better draw. Should run top three with a soft trip here
McKendrick (9) Good enough to take advantage of trailing draw. Stable respect. Needed in this
Carolan Questro (4) Getting better with racing and likely leader in the race. Place chances

Race 2

The Miki Taker (5) Running on last start and trained locally. Has to be included in combinations
Colonel (12) Will be fitter after tidy third on debut. Should give a good account again in this
Soul Artist (10) No luck on debut and only needs a clear run to be hard to beat. Good chance

Race 3

Dominus (9) Goes best when dominating in front. Tricky draw but good run expected in this
The Night Fox (5) Ok last start and a threat to the favourite with a good run in transit. Include
Barbarossa (8) Good effort last start but wide draw. Can sneak into the top three again with luck

Race 4

Very Majestic (10) Solid second last start and a winning chance with manners early. Include here
Rubble On The Double (4) Goes well the track and should get run near the speed. One for odds
Itmusclebelove (7) Never far away from the placings. Improver with winning claims back on grit

Race 5

Rough And Ready (6) Fought on last start in a stronger field. Top selection in this even from the 30m
Village Rebel (5) Had excuses last start and well placed here. Good each way chance in this field
Heaven High (2) Will be fitter after last start. Standing start the only concern here. Can win with manners

Race 6

Lincoln Lover (2) Fought on best last start in a weaker field. Rise in grade no issue. Top selection in this
Ragnar Lothbrok (8) Had excuses last start and well placed here. Good each way chance but tricky draw
Waltzing With Miki (3) Will be fitter after last start. Should get a soft trip and good enough to win

Race 7

Commander Lincoln (1) Running home well last start and ideally drawn. Hard to beat against this lot
Sea Of Love (2) Should get a soft run handy. Winning claims from the draw. One of the better chances
I Can Too (6) Due to show form and has been unlucky. Depends on the run in transit but capable enough

Race 8

Highview Rockn Roll (2) At her best would be hard to beat. Good draw and win chance with no mistakes
Caviar Noire (1) Decent motor and is drawn well here. One for longer odds with a clean beginning
Pat Yates (4) Disappointing last start. Will continue to improve and place hope again back on the grit
