Harness racing hits Cambridge again today with ten races on the card. The racing starts at 5:18pm and we highlight some specials and value runners we think can give you a run for your money on a good night of racing.

Best Bet:  R4   Over The Top

Best Value:  R7  With Ice

Race 1

The Fiery Countess (8) Manners the key but hard to beat if she steps away cleanly
Wish For Fish (3) Nice draw and going ok. Good chance with the right trip
Mr Monty (9) First starter who comes a long way for this. Could surprise

 

Race 2

Ideal Delight (4) Nice effort in a strong field last start. Can go close in this
Brookside Girl (1) Should get a soft run from the draw. Top three hope based on trials
Vincents Girl (2) Had excuses last start. Better placed here and might try to lead early

 

Race 3

Sans Au Revoir (5) Wide draw but does have mobile success. Up to winning this with luck
Romeo Foxtrot (8) Might have to go back early but one of the better chances. Include
Trifolium (1) Drawn well and change of driver. Distance will suit. Place hope at odds

 

Race 4

Over The Top (5) Has looked good at trials. Even field but top selection here
Fly To The Finish (2) Drawn well and will be improved. Should go close to top three
Red Rackham (13) Running on last start but tricky draw. Needs the right trip. Has claims

 

Race 5

Bri Express (5) Good run run in a stronger field last start. Top selection in this field
Ideal Dream (2) Conditions suit and he has run some good times on the track. Needed
I’llavabubbles (3) Normally a quick beginner. Place chance if she goes forward early

.

Race 6

Fernleigh Cash (8) Classy horse resuming and small field helps. Good winning chance
Claude (1) Should race handy early. Top three chance again here from the inside draw
Simply Sam (9) Has been racing well but handicap a worry. Needs luck but can win

 

Race 7

With Ice (12) Big drop in class for this. Handicap might not stop him in this field
Winners Time (8) Good beginner and likely to go forward early. Chance of a top three
Jasinova (10) Better run last start and this field looks within her range. Include here

 

Race 8

Bettor Heist (6) In good form and can go on with it in this field. Good winning chance
The Notorious R B G (2) Has been disappointing but drawn well. Not the worst in this
Irish Whispers (1) Up in class here but drawn for a soft run in transit. Can run top three

 

Race 9

Nelson’s Boy (9) Out of form but should get a soft fence run and drop in class. Top selection
John Wayne (12) Has been racing well in similar fields. Win chance if the pace is on
Bugalugs (2) Drawn well and extra distance suits. Not the worst in this field at longer odds

 

Race 10

Denny (8) Good gate speed and likely to race handy. Can run top three in this field
Hampton (2) Went close last start and will go forward here. Might take some running down
Neymar (1) Better last start and at his best would compete well here. Include
