Harness analyst - Cambridge 15th October

Harness racing hits Cambridge again tonight with an eleven race program starting at 4:54pm and we highlight some specials and value runners we think can give you a run for your money on a good night of racing.

Cambridge Thursday 14th October 2020

Race 1

Kayla Maguire  tidy second last start and drawn to lead. Winning claims at nice odds…… Highview Justice has run two good thirds the last couple and is over the odds. Can place again here ..… Express Play gate speed to lead and is getting fitter. Winning claims if she can stay handy early…….. Unfinished Business  needs to bring his a-game but good enough to beat this field if he does things right early and drawn for a soft run on the pegs.

Race 2

Get On The Sauce handy third here last start and should be improved. Hard to beat……. Elegant Peak first up second was good but forgive last run. Hard to beat with manners and top selection…… Petitewillshine has been good at trials and coming in fresh. Can win with no mistakes early…… Set Me Free not great last start but ok at workouts, Can run top three with a good run in transit

Race 3

The Banker nice draw and a horse with a big motor. Looks a good winning chance in this field….. King Ottokar looks to have a good turn of foot and drawn much bettor tonight. Winning claims….. Banter trials have been ok and from a strike rate stable. Top three player in this race…. Toni Street tricky draw but has been ok at workouts. One for longer odds

Race 4

Sir Henry Castleton looked in good nick at the workouts. Top selection and very hard to beat with manners….. My Royal Roxy has form against similar fields and can run in the top three if close enough on the turn….. Horace Horse running ok races and drawn well. Not the worst and has winning claims with no mistakes …. Isaac H was a good second last start and should be fitter now. Include here.

Race 5

Lukyanova has competed well  in better fields than this. Last start run ok and winning claims at good odds here…… Fira good beginner with nice form and should get a cosy run from the draw. Has place claims again here… Caitlin's Surprise form is better than it looks on paper and draw brings her right into calculations. Good chance at nice odds…… Griffins Hall terrible draw but opened over the odds. Good winning claims here if he can get a cart into the race at the right time

Race 6

Millwood Billie been racing nice fields and trainer does well on the track.. Top selection here and will start at short odds.….. Fleeting Grin likely to get a good run on the fence. One for longer odds here…… Jimmy Richter racing well and top driver on board again. Will be hard to beat with luck in the running..… Bettor Get It On ok last start and should get a run through from the draw. Place claims best

Race 7

Bondi Shake racing better fields at Auckland and drawn to get a soft lead here. Trainer driver combo has a good record here and he is the top selection……. Godziller tricky draw but ran some good workouts last campaign. One for bolters odds …..  Suidelike Major running ok races and cosy inside fence draw. Will be running on late and can place at good odds….. Pocket Book ok last start but draw not great. Would need to get a cart into the race at the right time but can win.

Race 8

Alterior Motif big on ability and should be winning this on his reputation alone. Top selection here……. Hugo George has not had a lot of luck in his races but drawn well with top driver on. Winning claims with a good run in transit…… Lavazza has been solid in similar races from bad draws and conditions suit. Place chances best here though….. New York Minute can not fault the form but up in grade. Place chances best

Race 9

Underthesouthernsun close enough last start and gets a head start on his main rivals. Top selection……. About Turn an unlucky second last start and has a good chance of going one better here if closer on the home turn …… American Me racing well in similar fields and should be thereabouts again here. Include….. Young Conqueror a bit out of form but these conditions suit and smaller field will help. One for longer odds

Race 10

High Point has been unlucky his last few runs. Only needs a good beginning and a trail to be a major player here at nice odds……. Little Miss Perfect could geta good run on the fence from the draw and form is better than it looks on paper. Can win..… Kerri Maguire has performed well in similar fields in the past but wide draw a concern. Can win and possibly a bit over the odds….. Spirit Of Anzac bad draw but big on ability. Hard to beat if he brings his a-game

Race 11

B D Joe running good races in top fields and drawn to lead. Top selection and hard to beat ….. American Dealer has been performing well in good fields and drawn front line again here. Should run top three….. General Montana running ok races and not out of his depth in this field. Place chances best …. Captain Nemo races well on the track and will be fitter. Place only from the draw
