Harness racing hits Auckland again today with 7 races on the card. The racing starts at 5:48pm and we highlight some specials and value runners we think can give you a run for your money on a good night of racing.

Race 1

Clouding Over (3) Goes well over a mile and driver change for this. Can run top three with luck
Midfrew Lucre (5) Small field will help and should begin quickly. Track stats good and upset chance
Dixieland Delight (9) Getting better with racing and gets a pegs draw to work with. Place chance

Race 2

Sweet Maggie Mae (7) Plenty of speed and stable on fire at the moment. Has to be included
Beachbreak (1) Has early speed to be one of the leaders and will be fitter. Winning claims here
Beta Prepare (4) Gate speed and form suggests another good run coming. Top three chance here

Race 3

Ultimate Racy Girl (7) At her best would be very hard to beat. Good run expected form average draw
Melody Banner (8) Big run last start and a threat to the favourites with a good run in transit. Needed
Courtney Rose (5) Good effort last start and similar draw. Can sneak into the top three with luck

Race 4

Mantra Blue (6) Solid third last start and a winning chance again from the draw. Will start short
Minjee (2) Has gate speed and goes well the track. Should give a good account at longer odds
Matai Phil (1) Drawn to be a big improver from the ace. Should get a soft run here. Needed

Race 5

Ocean Eyes (8) Good win last start but up in grade for this. Good enough to make her own luck
Regal Girl (7) Freshened and well placed here. Good each way chance from a strike rate stable
Sans Au Revoir (5) Will be fitter after last start sixth. Quick beginner who should get a soft trip.

Race 6

Always B Magic (6) Good against tougher fields previously. Hard to beat against this lot
Princess Lisa (5) Should get a soft run handy. Winning claims from the draw. Include here
Aunty Rose (4) Good run last start and should go on with it now. Winning claims in this

Race 7

Crackerjack (6) Better run last start and should be improved. Will need manners but good chance
Saxon Reigns (4) Manners the key but should go close to placing in this with no mistakes. Include
Santapazienza (5) No form but upset claims at longer odds if put in the race. Top three chance
