Auckland selections – 30th October 2026
Harness analyst best tips:
Best Bet: R6 Doo You Want Me
Best Value: R2 Sans Au Revoir
Race 1
Miss Cherokee (4)
Resumes after a useful campaign and has won a recent workout in good time. Drawn well enough and looks a strong chance fresh.
Time For Change (5)
Broke through with a convincing victory two weeks ago. Racing with confidence and should be prominent again. Winning claims.
Dolly Parton (8)
Showed plenty of determination to score last week. The outside draw is a concern, but she has the speed to overcome it. Needed.
Race 2
Sans Au Revoir (7)
Consistent trotter who added another placing to her record last week. Starts from ten metres but has the experience to feature again.
Emily Bay (9)
Has been holding her form well and worked hard in her latest fourth. The handicap is manageable and she should be competitive.
Miss Bebe (2)
Recent race form has been disappointing, although she showed improvement at the trials. Front mark helps and could surprise with better manners.
Race 3
Upstage (7)
Finished strongly for third at this track last start and has been racing consistently. Outside draw but looks capable of going one better. Top selection.
Critical Image (3)
Only narrowly beaten here two weeks ago. Drawn to settle handy and should take plenty of catching. One of the main threats.
Buddy Good (2)
Resumes after winning a recent workout. Has shown enough ability previously and gets a favourable draw. Good each-way chance.
Race 4
Tatanka (7)
Won comfortably here last start and has been racing in excellent form. Steps up in grade but has the ability to overcome that. Top selection.
Hillbilly (9)
Resumes with good stats at this track and has never missed a placing fresh. 10m handicap but looks a major danger if he steps quickly.
Shez Bella (12)
Has been racing honestly against useful opposition. The twenty-metre handicap makes things difficult, but she can run into the placings.
Race 5
B Envious (5)
Has won three of the last five starts and continues to race with plenty of confidence. Reasonable draw and looks hard to beat again.
Final Change (4)
Led throughout to win last week and has been remarkably consistent. Should be close to the pace and looks a genuine winning chance.
Cyclone Rebel (7)
Has been racing better than his results suggest, with little luck in recent outings. Wide draw but has the ability to feature. Include.
Race 6
Doo You Want Me (6)
Made a mistake but still finished a close second here a fortnight ago. Looks ready to win and should prove hard to beat with a clean beginning.
Little Spike (7)
Finished strongly in his latest fourth and has been meeting some useful opposition. Starts from 15m but can run into the money.
Captain Sampson (8)
Should be fitter after his first-up fifth against Merlin. Easier opposition here and looks capable of improving sharply.
