Auckland Trotting Club selections – 24 September 2026

Harness analyst best tips:

Best Bet: R2 Sans Au Revoir

Best Value: R5  Leo Lincoln

Race 1

Abman (7)

Finished off well last week and has been improving with racing. Wide draw isn’t ideal but looks a strong top-three chance.

Under Arrest (1)

Forget the latest run. Gets the ace again and his earlier placing from this draw gives him a genuine chance.

Copy Ten Four (4)

Has shown enough ability to be competitive in this field. Needs to put everything together but worth including.

Race 2

Sans Au Revoir (8)

Hasn’t been at his best lately but this grade looks suitable. Wide draw hurts but looks capable of winning this.

So Mystifying (4)

Much better suited returning to Cambridge after two recent placings here. Can bounce back at useful odds.

Brother Johnson (7)

Won well two starts ago and wasn’t far away last week. Racing strongly enough to overcome the wider draw.

Race 3

Rivergirl Bella (2)

Good third here last week and now gets a much better draw. Looks one of the hardest to beat.

Genuine Imitation (5)

Should improve from the first run back and his earlier form was good enough for this grade. Each-way chance.

Takethat (7)

Forget the fresh-up run when things went wrong. Has winning ability and could improve sharply with better manners.

Race 4

The Merc (6)

Won nicely two starts ago and backed that up with another strong performance. Ten metres shouldn’t stop him going close.

Scoots (1)

Good second at his latest appearance and gets the advantage of starting from the front. Strong each-way chance.

Hayley Mhor (5)

Has been finishing close enough without getting the rewards. Ten-metre handicap but looks worth including at odds.

Race 5

Leo Lincoln (9)

Excellent third in stronger company last week. Second-row draw makes it harder but looks a major winning chance.

Claude (3)

Better effort last week and now gets a handy front-line draw. Capable of being right in the finish.

Melody Banner (1)

Recent form has been average but finally gets a favourable draw. Could improve considerably from the ace.

Race 6

Sharp N Smooth (7)

Good third two starts ago and has enough ability for this company. Manners will be important but she’s a genuine chance.

Aldebaran D B (2)

Made a costly mistake when resuming as favourite. Gets another good draw and deserves a second chance.

Eyes To Heaven (8)

Excellent second here last week and continues to show improvement. Awkward starting position but looks a major threat.

Race 7

Miki Mirage (6)

Better than the latest result suggests and has been competitive in stronger company. Wide draw but capable of winning.

Franco Miki (4)

Very good second last week and continues to race consistently. Handy draw makes him one of the main chances.

Tasi Ahnau (3)

Recent form has been disappointing but gets a useful draw in a suitable field. Could sneak into the placings at odds.
