Harness racing hits Auckland again today with 7 races on the card. The racing starts at 5:54pm and we highlight some specials and value runners we think can give you a run for your money on a good night of racing.

Best Bet:  R4  Hawkeye Pierce

Best Value:  R6  Johnny Lincoln

Race 1

Tyson (2) Did a power of work and stuck on ok last start. Well placed and can go close here
Big Herb (3) Small field will help and should begin quickly. Respect the current form. Include
Waltzing With Miki (7) Getting better with racing and one for longer odds in this. Place chance

Race 2

Whatever It Takes (6) Got close to winning last start and weaker field. Has to be included
Pirayas (3) Will be fitter but requiring manners early. Good chance if he steps away cleanly
Mass Disruption (8) Improver from his last start and weaker field. Top three chance again

Race 3

Sweet Maggie Mae (8) Has raced better fields than this. Might have too much speed for them
Brookside Girl (2) Ok last start and place chance with a good run in transit. Can boost multiples
Princess Lisa (5) Good effort last start and conditions suit. Can sneak into the top three with luck

Race 4

Hawkeye Pierce (2) Solid win last start and a winning chance again from the draw. Top selection
Mighty Looee (8) Freshened and can run time. Should give a good account with a cart into it
Minjee (6) Out of form but improver with a place chance at longer odds. Has been unlucky recently

Race 5

Bolt For The Hill (6) Flew home late last start and only needs a good trip to figure here. Top selection
Bravehearthighlander (7) Had excuses last start and well placed here. Good each way chance
Boss Jo (1) Will be fitter after last start. Inside draw and should get a soft trip. Not the worst in this

Race 6

Johnny Lincoln (1) Can use the draw to his advantage. Hard to beat with a trailing run in this
Always B Magic (9) Should get a soft pegs run. Winning claims with any gaps in the straight
Miki Mirage (5) Freshened and looks stronger now. Should give a good account from the draw

Race 7

Santapazienza (6) Never far away from the placings. Will need manners but should run top three
Brienne (2) Fast beginner who likes the conditions of the race. Good place chance if fully fit
Pretty In Pink (1) Trainer/driver combo hard to beat at this venue. One of the leading chances
