Harness analyst best tips:

Best Bet: R5 I’m The Boss

Race 1

The Jolly Roger (6)

Has shown enough ability in stronger northern company and has placed in both previous Addington appearances. Looks a genuine top-three chance.

Scrunch (8)

Freshened after an excellent winter campaign and has a strong record over this track and distance. Wide draw but looks hard to beat.

Semba (5)

Overcame a handicap to win impressively at Methven on Sunday. Steps up in company but is racing well enough to feature again.

Race 2

Axel Rose (7)

Made an early mistake when resuming at Oamaru. Has plenty of speed and can be a major threat if he trots throughout.

George Eliot (8)

Returns to her favourite track after a reasonable effort at Methven. Ten-metre handicap but capable of getting into the finish.

To The Moon And Back (13)

Produced a strong second behind Tactical Bid at Winton and continues to improve. Unruly position is the concern but has genuine each-way claims.

Race 3

Captain Wolf (5)

Impressed when winning his maiden at Gore and now steps up in grade. Looks a progressive type capable of measuring up immediately.

Bord De La Mer (4)

Better than his latest race performance suggests and has trialled strongly since. Nicely drawn and looks a serious winning chance.

St Paddy (13)

Has been racing consistently and produced a useful trial since his latest appearance. Second-row draw makes it tougher but can feature.

Race 4

Imperious Girl (7)

Has made costly mistakes in both runs this campaign but possesses exceptional speed. New stable and a clean round could see her bounce back strongly.

Landman (5)

Overcame an early mistake to win impressively at Timaru. Has a big motor and looks a genuine winning chance with better manners.

Kawatiri Trev (11)

Produced an excellent victory over Prestigious at his latest appearance. Unruly draw is awkward but he has the ability to threaten.

Race 5

I’m The Boss (2)

Chasing a hat-trick after another impressive victory here last week. Beautifully drawn and looks the one they all have to beat.

Daisy Bay (6)

Had a tough run when disappointing last time after producing some excellent earlier performances. Capable of bouncing back with a kinder trip.

Suva Baby (4)

Has finished strongly in both starts this campaign and should be approaching peak fitness. Better draw gives her a genuine chance of upsetting the favourite.

Race 6

Eyes Wide Open (7)

Unbeaten in two starts and has looked a class above his opposition. Draw isn’t ideal but he looks capable of maintaining his perfect record.

Tactico (5)

Showed ability and determination when winning on debut. Faces a much stronger field but has the potential to make his presence felt.

Duke Of Bourbon (12)

Has plenty of talent but continues to be let down by his manners. Unruly position makes things difficult, although he can win if he gets everything right.

Race 7

Esmeralda (13)

Produced an encouraging fourth in the Methven Cup and looks to be approaching her best form. Second-row draw is tricky but she can feature.

Amaretto Franco (10)

Has been racing consistently against useful opposition. Needs some luck from the second row but looks a genuine place chance.

Nothing But You (9)

Produced a strong fourth last time and has since won a trial. Wide draw is the concern but she has enough ability to threaten.

Race 8

Jumal (7)

Returned with a brilliant victory here last start and continues to impress with his toughness. Wide draw but looks the horse to beat.

Franco Lomu (2)

Went desperately close to beating Jumal last time and now gets a much better draw. Looks the main danger and a genuine winning chance.

Franco Ankara (1)

Disappointed slightly at his latest appearance but has been racing consistently. Ace draw gives him every chance to bounce back.

Race 9

Habibti Pat (4)

Produced an excellent victory in the D G Jones Cup and looks ideally placed from the front mark. Major chance of making it consecutive wins.

Prestigious (3)

Overcame a mistake to produce a remarkable victory last week. Has plenty of ability and will be right in the finish with better manners.

Mighty Logan (14)

Made up considerable ground late at his latest appearance and should appreciate the longer journey. Twenty-metre handicap but looks a serious threat.

Race 10

Bamm Bamm (4)

Comes off an impressive Auckland victory where he showed plenty of speed. Steps into stronger company but looks capable of being competitive.

Faith Not Fear (9)

Unbeaten in three starts and has looked an outstanding prospect. Second-row draw isn’t ideal but he has the class to overcome it.

Tour Party (3)

Was below his best last week after some excellent earlier performances. Nicely drawn and capable of bouncing back in this valuable event.

Race 11

Secret Wish (9)

Returned with an impressive Oamaru victory and has continued to trial well. Wide draw but looks a genuine winning chance.

Ride The Waves (7)

Has produced two outstanding seconds at Auckland and continues to race in excellent form. Makes her Addington debut but looks a major threat.

Song Of Seas (10)

Was too keen early before weakening last week. Second-row draw could provide a more economical trip and she can improve sharply.

Race 12

Cee Whata Mickee (3)

Has produced some strong performances against quality opposition and recently won a trial impressively. Nicely drawn and looks very hard to beat.

Franco Lennon (2)

Produced a solid fifth when resuming last week and should improve with that outing. Excellent draw gives him genuine winning claims.
