Harness racing hits Addington again today with nine races on the card. The racing starts at 5:39pm and we highlight some specials and value runners we think can give you a run for your money on a good night of racing.

Best Bet:  R6  Lady Of The Light

Best Value:  R9  Elite Styx

Race 1

Heisenberg (6) Has beaten better fields in the past and in form. Wide draw but has claims
Watermelon Sugar (2) Disappointing last start. Nice draw and can run top three in this
Helium (5) Has gate speed and might try for an all the way win. One of the better chances

 

Race 2

Winning Bones (8) Will be fitter for this and likely leader in the race. Chance at longer odds
Lookslikeatrixter (7) Tough run last start. Big hope with a better run in transit. Include
Ginas Majesty (3) Has been good in recent races. Conditions suit and has claims in this.

 

Race 3

Munroe’s Mate (8) Wide draw but the ability is there. Needs the right trio but can go close
Ultimate Seisation (1) Freshened for this. Can run top three from the draw and big improver
Courtney Rose (2) Fought on well here last start. Might go forward and has to be included

 

Race 4

Oscar Bonavena (6) Beat these easy enough last start. Another win coming here I think
Smokin Bandar (5) Goes well on the track and has speed. Should race well again here
Styx Jewel (1) Up in grade but speedy and will not be disgraced. Manners needed

Race 5

Donttelltheboys (5) Drawn well but stronger field. Needs the right trip but can double up
Style Council (1) Drawn to be competitive and in form. Winning claims with a safe beginning
Foveaux Gambler (6) Wide draw but can begin well. Place chance with a good run in transit

 

Race 6

Lady Of The Light (3) Improver for this after working hard last start. One of the better chances
Allamericanlover (4) Beat most of this field last start. Better draw and can win again
Lifes A Beach  (1) Big upgrade in draws. Good place chance with a soft run on the pegs

 

Race 7

Luvstruck (6) Wider draw but has beaten similar fields in the past. Winning claims here
Ideal Double (4) Best runs have been from the front and can lead here. Good chance again
Bettor Be Sharp (11) Going ok in similar fields. Tricky draw but will be running on here

 

Race 8

Majestic Love (11) Tough draw for this but has finishing speed and getting fitter. Good chance
Aroha Kenny (2) In good form and drawn well. Will need manners but has winning claims
Ruakaka (5) Handy runs the last couple but this looks harder. Top three chance with no mistakes

 

Race 9

Elite Styx (1) Big upgrade in draws and running on well last start. Hard to beat in this. Needed
Wolf Of Wall Street (6) Races well on the track and in form. Should give a good account again
Milou (2) Gate speed and getting fitter. Will race handy to the speed and can run top three
