Addington selections 2nd August 2026

Harness Analyst Best Tips
Best Bet: R5 Coba Charged
Best Value: R2 KD Grins

Race 1

Carrera Bravo (8)
Returns fitter after his fresh up run and looked sharp winning a recent trial. Has the ability to bounce back.

Miss Woodville (6)
Just missed two starts ago and continues to race honestly. Wide draw hurts but she is capable of making her presence felt.

Captain Kiwi (7)
Found the line nicely at his latest outing and looks to be improving with racing. Can earn another cheque with the right trip.

Race 2

KD Grins (5)
Did enough last week to suggest another forward showing. Reliable manners will put her right in the finish and she appeals as value.

Terry Webster (8)
Has shown glimpses of ability in recent mobile races. Standing start makes things tougher but he is worth keeping safe at odds.

Chocolate Angus (3)
Finished off well last week and looks ready for this type of assignment. Definite top three claims despite the handicap.

Race 3

Woodlea Rocks (1)
Gets the perfect draw after not having much luck in recent outings. Look for a big improvement in this.

Loveyourmother (3)
Made good ground last time and the improved barrier gives him every opportunity. Looks one of the leading chances.

Don Juan (6)
Didn’t quite finish it off last start after a soft run. Better effort puts him right in the mix despite the draw.

Race 4

Sugar Babe (4)
Has been racing consistently and stable on fire recently. Gets another suitable race and should be in the finish again.

Arinitti (5)
Hasn’t been far away since winning fresh up and gets a kinder draw today. Looks a genuine winning hope.

Terrormylove (3)
Recent form doesn’t tell the full story and this draw gives him the chance to improve. One for wider combinations.

Race 5

Coba Charged (5)
Worked home strongly after striking trouble last week. Clean beginning makes him the horse they all have to beat.

Sans Repos (6)
Luck has deserted him recently but he is capable of much better and driver change. Worth another chance.

Bannockburn (3)
Resumes after a very consistent campaign and has been kept up to the mark at the trials. Fresh record makes him a major player.

Race 6

Didn’t Di (8)
Continues to race in excellent form and drops into a race she can certainly win. Looks ready to break through.

Time For Victory (4)
Forgive the latest effort as this assignment looks more suitable. Can bounce back into the placings.

Grettymac (9)
Has improved with each run this campaign and should be nearing peak fitness. Another bold effort wouldn’t surprise.

Race 7

Wavewatcher (7)
Eye catching finish last week after settling back in the field. Similar performance would see him fighting out the finish.

The Beach House (11)
Ran on well at his latest appearance and the second row draw may suit. Worth including in multiples.

Touch N Go (2)
Has been knocking on the door with a string of consistent performances. Gets another good draw and deserves plenty of respect.
