Harness racing hits Addington again today with 9 races on the card. The racing starts at 5:21pm and we highlight some specials and value runners we think can give you a run for your money on a good night of racing.

Best Bet:  R9  Better Be Quick

Best Value:  R8 Cormoran Strike

Race 1

Tact Teva (5) Freshened and has a reputation. Stable in form and should go close to winning
Delightful Dreams (6) Better than the form suggests and could upset with a good trip. Include
Delightful Peg (9) Getting better with racing and wide draw only concern. Top three hope

Race 2

Tactical Bid (11) Did too much work last start and easier here. Has to be included
Bevron (9) Has early speed to be one of the leaders and will be fitter. One for longer odds
Musclynn (1) Improver from her last start and weaker field. Top three chance here

Race 3

Rustenburg (5) Looked good winning last start and maybe same tactics. Good run expected
Action Major (8) Ok last start and a threat to the favourites if he can lead here. Include
Trump Card (3) Disappointing effort last start but better draw. Can sneak into the top three 

Race 4

Tatanka (5) Solid trial win recently and a winning chance on debut. Has to be included
Landman (2) Has gate speed and going well at trials. Should give a good account fresh
Regal Summit (4) Has race experience and small field helps. Not the worst with a good trip

Race 5

Jumal (7) Unbeaten and looks a good chance to keep the picket fence form line going.
Sonofamistery (6) Freshened and can run time. Good each way chance if he gets any luck
Zeus Lightning (5) Will be fitter after last starts impressive win. Should give a good sight

Race 6

Got You Covered (9) Has been competitive in a higher grade. Will need manners but could surprise
Miki’s Courage (2) Looked unlucky last start. Winning claims if he can land handy to the speed
Next Level (10) Better run last start. Will need manners but could surprise at longer odds in this

Race 7

Always B You (8) Goes best in front and wide draw an issue. Big chance if she goes forward early
Our Shangri Lana (4) Decent motor and is drawn ideally. Lead and trail her best chance here
Akatea (6) Freshened after a good run of form earlier in the year. Stable will have her ready

Race 8

Cormoran Strike (11) Finally got some luck and won well last start. Wide draw but can win again
The Royal Gamble (10) Decent motor and form is good. A bit one paced but can run top three
Tu Tangata (6) Honest second last start. Will continue to improve and place hope again here

Race 9

Better Be Quick (7) Has raced better fields. Drawn wider but looks a good bet. Top selection here
Sweet Espresso (2) Nice draw and better than most in this field. Has to be respected again
Longview Tui (1) Good finish last start and can do some work mid race. Big upgrade in draws
