Addington selections 23rd September 2026

Harness analyst best tips:

Best Bet: R7 Aspirational Dream

Best Value: R4   Ward Lamon

Race 1

Matai Harry (3)

Bold run here last week and this field no stronger.  Can run top three again with luck in running

Zoom X (5)

Went close over the longer trip last week and continues to race well. Looks one of the hardest to beat.

Shadow Creek (2)

Has been racing consistently and gets a much better draw this time and driver change. Has to be in the mix

Race 2

Dont Look Kobe (1)

Useful effort last start and has trialed. Gets the ace and looks a major chance with manners.

Aradne (8)

Recent form has been very consistent despite a below-par result last start. Wide draw but capable of winning.

Lindy’s Rocket (6)

Made a mistake last week and never recovered. Needs to begin cleanly but has enough ability to feature.

Race 3

Better Man (3)

Has been going close without winning and gets another favourable draw. Looks to have found a very suitable race.

Miss Woodville (1)

Another solid effort last week continued her consistent form. Ace draw makes her a serious winning chance.

The Seamstress (2)

Below her best last week after several useful efforts beforehand. Better draw gives her every opportunity to bounce back.

Race 4

Ward Lamon (2)

Joins a new stable after some useful southern form. Nicely drawn and looks an interesting each-way prospect.

Tempo Warrior (7)

Has been racing in stronger company and should appreciate this easier assignment. Wide draw but looks a major chance.

Gatecrasher (4)

Forget the last run after an early mistake. Returns to a mobile start and is capable of improving sharply.

Race 5

Foveaux Gambler (2)

Made a mistake when resuming last week but gets a better opportunity from the mobile. Strong chance with manners.

Longview Tui (7)

Has been racing reasonably well without threatening the winners. Draw makes it harder but worth including in the multiples.

Belmont Valor (11)

Produced another respectable effort last week. Second row but looks a major threat at longer odds with a trip

Race 6

Radioactive Jaffa (9)

Finished strongly when resuming last week and should improve with the outing. Unruly draw is the concern but he can win.

Ocean Of Tears (3)

Continues to race consistently and gets another useful draw. Looks one of the hardest to beat.

Rapid Response (1)

Very good second here last week and now lands the ace. Looks a genuine winning chance with a clean beginning.

Race 7

Aspirational Dream (10)

Excellent second when returning last week and should be fitter again. Unruly draw makes it tricky but she’s a major chance.

Kowhai Summit (7)

Hasn’t quite reproduced his earlier winning form but this grade gives him another opportunity. Worth including at odds.

Lookslikeatrixter (2)

Encouraging effort when resuming and gets a handy draw. Looks capable of improving enough to run top three.

Race 8

The Beach House (9)

Good second here last week and wide draw looks the only concern. Looks a strong winning chance.

Gimmesomelovin (1)

Has been racing reasonably well and gets the perfect draw. Should enjoy a good trip and can run into the money.

Lets Get Tropical (6)

Fair effort when resuming last week and should improve with the run. Wide draw but capable of featuring at longer odds.
