Harness racing hits Addington again today with ten races on the card. The racing starts at 5:14pm and we highlight some specials and value runners we think can give you a run for your money on a good night of racing.

Best Bet:  R1   St John Eight

Best Value:  R4   Clyde

Race 1

St John Eight (4) Trialing like a winner. Looks very hard to beat. Top selection
Pioneer (8) Manners needed but a chance here with a good run in transit
Spirited Lou (7) Has been close to the placings his last couple. Top three chance

 

Race 2

Father Time (3) Getting better towards end of last campaign. Good chance in this
Edward Hill (4) Sound trial in preparation for this. Stable in form and can win fresh
Top Of The Hill (6) Goes well on the track and chance at longer odds with manners

 

Race 3

Dancing Desire (3) At her best would go close to winning and better last start. Include
Warrior Chief (1) Racing well in similar fields. Has to be respected from the nice draw
Jack Tar (7) Good run last start to run over the top of a similar field. Can go close again

 

Race 4

Clyde (2) Mobile suits and likely early leader in this. One of the better chances. Needed
Regal Sierra (6) Conditions suit and could surprise with a good run in transit. Include
Jasprit Trouble (5) Ok draw but has the motor. Chance here at good odds. Can place

Race 5

Princess Meritaten (9) Will be fitter after her last start win. Only needs a good trip
Anytime At All (2) Tidy win last start but up in grade. Top three chance at longer odds
Lilac Luxury (7) Wide draw but a bit underrated. Not the worst and top three chance

 

Race 6

Louretta (8) Big recovery after breaking last start. Winning claims here with manners
Major Hipster (1) Drawn to be a major factor in this. Should be in the placings at the finish
Wish Me Luck (4) Stable respect and this looks easier than what he been racing. Include

 

Race 7

Celtic Spirit (1) Inside draw a big advantage over a mile here. Winning claims from there
Mighty Looee (2) Best runs have been from the front. Ok draw and will lead or trail
Alta Meteor (5) Stable does well on the track. In form and hard to beat. Even field here

 

Race 8

Double Jeopardy (4) Coming in fresh but has speed and can push the fav. Top selection
Xlendi (5) Goes ok the track and can not ignore the form. Hard to beat again here
Major Happy (1) Draw suits and can go close to placing in this from a handy position.

 

Race 9

Aroha Kenny (9) Second in a similar field last start. Should be hard to beat again here.
Paris Prince (6) Getting fitter and due to show some form. Can go close if up on the pace
Styx Jewel (11) Galloped late in a strong field last start. Will be running on at the finish

 

Race 10

Absolute Dynamite (8) Conditions suit and should give a good account if the pace is on
Sophia Bromac (9) Tricky draw but distance will suit and will be running on. Place claims
Milou (1) Getting better with racing and drawn to get a soft run. Top three chance
