Addington selections 11th September 2026

Harness analyst best tips:

Best Bet: R5 Eyes Wide Open

Best Value: R10 Bounce N Beyond

Race 1

One El (5)

Drops in grade after a brave second last time. 20 metre handicap isn’t ideal but he’s going well enough to overcome it.

Tu Tangata (2)

Found the line nicely here last week and starts from the front again. Honest enough to be right in the finish.

Luvavici (6)

Solid third in a mobile fresh-up and has an excellent standing-start record. Twenty metres to overcome but looks a major threat.

Race 2

Hawk Touie Louie (5)

Forget last week’s result after things went badly wrong mid race. Has enough ability to bounce back in this company.

Artful Bromac (4)

Got too far back at Ashburton and never really featured. Better positioning tonight could see a sharp improvement.

Berrettini (3)

Continues to slide down the ratings and finds a very suitable grade. Drawn well enough to be an each-way chance.

Race 3

Regal Summit (1)

Runner-up in four consecutive starts and gets the perfect draw tonight. Looks to have found an excellent opportunity to break through.

Evolution (7)

Has finished top three in all three career starts and continues to improve. Draw is wider but he’s a genuine winning chance.

Seeking Love (11)

Has plenty of ability but manners remain the big concern. Gets the second row and can feature if he does everything right.

Race 4

Aardie’s Ideal (7)

Two excellent efforts to begin her career and has shown good early speed. Looks ready to turn those placings into a win.

Avalon (10)

Debutant who has been running on strongly in his trials. Second row makes it interesting but he’s worth respecting.

Scoundrel (3)

Unraced gelding who comes in after consecutive trial wins. Nicely drawn and looks capable of making an immediate impact.

Race 5

Eyes Wide Open (7)

Could hardly have been more impressive winning on debut here. Steps into a stronger race but looks capable of repeating the dose.

La Venture (3)

Very good second when resuming and should be fitter for that outing. Drawn to get every chance and looks the main danger.

Master McGoogan (8)

Group 3 winner returning after a strong trial second. Draw isn’t ideal but his class makes him impossible to leave out.

Race 6

Tee Ball (3)

Has been tackling stronger 3yo company and now gets some relief. Starts from the front and looks a serious winning chance.

Commander Ben (2)

Continues to race honestly and gets another favourable front mark. Capable of landing in the money with a clean beginning.

Bryce’s Meddle (6)

Had little go his way last time after some excellent earlier form. Ten metres to overcome but deserves another chance.

Race 7

Marikit (9)

Made it two wins from three with an easy victory last week. Draw is tougher but she’s progressive and can keep winning.

Harriet’s Moment (6)

Drops back in grade after another honest performance at Winton. Consistent mare who looks a strong each-way chance.

Rangitata (2)

Excellent second at Winton last start and gets a very useful draw. Looks one of the strongest winning chances in an even race.

Race 8

Arafura (4)

NZ Oaks winner returning after a strong trial victory. Has plenty of class and looks a huge chance fresh from a good draw.

Beside Me (7)

Didn’t get everything her way when third here last start. Racing well this campaign and should be right in the finish again.

Nothing But You (3)

Continued her excellent form with another win last week. Drawn beautifully and deserves plenty of respect in stronger company.

Race 9

Franco Ankara (6)

Finished strongly again last week after his Rising Stars victory. This is a quality field but he’s right at the top of his game.

Song Of Seas (7)

Did plenty of work before fighting on well at Ashburton. Continues to race superbly and has to be included despite the draw.

Captain Tyron (5)

Excellent third when resuming after making up plenty of ground. Better draw tonight and looks one of the hardest to beat.

Race 10

Bounce N Beyond (6)

Returns after a strong trial second and has won fresh before. 25 metres is tough, but she’s capable of overcoming it.

Petite Amour (3)

Returns after performing extremely well in Group company last campaign. Starts from the front and looks a major danger fresh.

One Over Da Line (7)

Put together an excellent campaign before spelling and won her recent trial. 25 metres makes it harder but she has the class.

Race 11

Chaldon (8)

Returns after a promising short campaign and chased home a smart one in his latest trial. Wide draw but has plenty of upside.

Ma Belle Amie Franco (1)

Finished strongly to win at Ashburton and lands the perfect draw tonight. Looks capable of going back-to-back.

Mighty Flying Miki (2)

Good late when second here last start and now gets his best draw for some time. Strong top-three chance again.

Race 12

Trump Card (7)

Controlled proceedings to win well here last time and is racing in excellent form. Small field suits and he’s the one to beat.

Malakai (6)

Produced another strong effort when second here last start. Racing consistently and should be charging home again.

Treacherous Dreams (5)

Returns gaining good form in previous campaign and has trialled nicely for this. Ability and must be respected fresh.
