Galactic Storm cruises to easy feature win

Galactic Storm (Jimmy Whittemore) captures the $7,500 featured pace on Friday (July 3).

Galactic Storm ($2.40) shot right out of the gate going straight to the front and led to the quarter in :27.2.  He used a :28.3 second quarter to be first to the half in :56.0.  He opened up by two lengths heading around the final turn and led to three quarters in 1:23.2.

As they reached the stretch, second place finisher Triple Sevens (Leon Bailey) went all out after the leader, but Galactic Storm was too strong and won easily in 1:51.1.  Three In Heaven A (Chris Long) finished third.
