Upper conditioned-level filly and mare pacers headlined the Friday afternoon harness racing program at Harrah's Philadelphia, with each going for a purse of $18,000.

In the first division, it was Elizabeth Novak and Ron Gurfein's Lucy's Pearl using the passing lane to pick up the win. The 4-year-old daughter of Well Said was coming off of a fourth place finish in a filly and mare open at Miami Valley in Ohio. She left well from the gate today, settling down into the pocket behind the speedy Fast And Fiesty (David Miller). Gilbert Garcia-Herrera's Fashion Mystery (Geo. Napolitano Jr.) battled hard first-over, but faded in the stretch to finish fourth. Lucy's Pearl (Yannick Gingras) closed sharply up the inside to win by a little more than a length, stopping the clock in 1:52.2. It was her third win in her last four starts, and her fourteenth overall. She paid $4.00. Fast and Fiesty finished second, while Hearts N Flowers (Corey Callahan) finished third.

In the second division, it was Alexander Rice Sr. and Mike Horn's Cinamony making her fourth season's start a winning one. The 4-year-old daughter of Art Official also used the pocket trip to her advantage. She successfully stalked behind the speed of Lightning Paige (Scott Zeron), who was coming off of a win against softer at Tioga. Lightning Paige finished a clear second, while I'm So Happy (Andrew McCarthy) finished third. It was the tenth career win for Cinamony (1:52.4) who returned $4.00 to her para-mutuel backers. It was the second driving win for Corey Callahan. Tim Tetrick had four driving wins on the day.
